It was good! I ordered the The Fresco, which was delicious and my husband ordered the BCT. We both liked our sandwiches very much. Definitely will come back when we can.

Ummmm when you order a grilled cheese from a store that is called grilled cheese and co and there isn’t any cheese on your sandwich… No

After a night out, my boyfriend introduced me to what is Grilled Cheese & Co. He ordered us the Crabby Melt and let me tell you, I’ve tried many-a-food after a night out and this by far has probably become my all-time favorite. I probably won’t ever stray away from the Crabby Melt since the other options aren’t appealing to me, but I will for sure be back for their signature Maryland crab sandwich.

Wow super disappointed. First of all, I dig a great hole in the wall restaurant. I understand that some things are not going to be as pretty when you roll up. And the spot looks ok it’s just a general air of «no fucks given». The front door is cracked and covered in cardboard and duct tape and has been for at least two weeks. The the lamp near the front has two shades and 3 light bulbs. The front window area looks like storage for random crap that they never cleaned out. But like I said. I can get over that if the food is bomb. Sad face. It wasn’t. It wasn’t bad and this may have been a higher review except for two things. 1 my wife took a bite of her sand which and chomped down on a chicken bone. Which is something you don’t expect in a grilled cheese. Just means that they are not cleaning the chicken properly. Which makes me wonder what else is being done improperly. 2 you can see the guys making your sandwich. I watched them as they had to look up what is in each sand which they made. It would appear that they have no pride in their business. We didn’t go and inform the manager because we have no desire to ever return, they don’t seem to care so we didn’t either. I can make a grilled cheese at home, this place was nothing special.

We were given a gift card to Grilled Cheese & Co. Yesterday, 3÷5÷16, we headed to the Federal Hill location. I was extremely disappointed. The building has NO heat, and apparently, hasn’t for years! The employees did have a space heater behind the front counter. They could not have been more pleasant or accommodating considering the circumstances. I am seriously considering contacting the local Labor Board. Also, the space is dingy… new paint, etc. Sad to know you lack consideration and respect not only for your employees, but also, paying customers. We will not be back. You can do better, guys!

So frustrated with this place. The sandwiches are great but the delivery service is a pain! I don’t work at the same address everyday and no matter what I do, they always try to deliver it to the first address I used to order. I called today to confirm they had the right address and still got a call(over an hour after I placed/confirmed the order) saying they were at the wrong address. Maybe I sound petty but I’m so frustrated considering I plan my lunch time around nap time(nanny life) and after waiting 90 minutes, and having my lunch time shortened by a woken baby, I can’t help but be upset. The food isn’t bad! I won’t say I’ll never go again, but I will never recommend their delivery.

Okay, let’s face it. Grilled cheese ain’t all that hard to make. It is extremely hard to mess it up too. But when they make them all fancy, like this joint, it does piqué some level of interest. My friend insisted to try it out because she got a $ 5 off $ 25 coupon. So after a good walk at Federal Hill Park, we found ourselves hungry for some carbs. I got the Fresno. The other two ordered the crab and BBQ chicken. The food came hot… but was rather burnt. I figured to yolo for a bit, since the stomach won’t wait for another 10 mins longer, and finished the sandwich. Was this amazing? Naw. Just OK. I learned that a grilled cheese sandwich is a grilled cheese sandwich no matter how fancy it gets. Make them at home yourself, please.

ABSO-LUTELYNOT! My order took over two hours and my delivery address is less than half a mile away! I called several times and no one answered the phone, and their voicemail box was full. Eat24 also was unable to reach the restaurant. When the sandwich arrived, it was STONECOLD and they did not bring my soup! I was told the reason they were not answering the phone was because they were«pretty busy». I still have not been able to reach the restaurant to try and get my money back. Next time I’ll walk to the furthest grocery store in town, buy my own cheese, bread, butter, chicken stock, vegetables, and noodles, then start a fire by rubbing two sticks together and make my own sandwich and soup in less time that it took this place to deliver my sandwich.

Less of grilled cheese specialty and more of a sandwich place with a panini press. For example, the only true grilled cheese they offer is the American cheese variety, but other sandwiches have cheddar, blue, or Brie cheeses. The other ones come with meats and veggies though, so to get a more traditional grilled cheese selection you’ll have to order off menu. My cheddar, bacon, and tomato was 8⁄10. Plus, it feels exactly like what it is: a late night stop on your way home for the bars. Everything feels a little grimy and the staff are reluctant to pull their faces out of their phones.

I came here because I really wanted a grill cheese sandwich and haven’t mastered how to make a great one at home. However, once inside I got distracted by all the other cheese based sandwiches and ordered the crabby which is cheese and crab. It’s, allegedly one of their more popular options. It was just ok for me. It’s messy to eat and I got a few shells in my bites that I could have done without. The bread was buttery and good. I’d probably come back and just keep it simple and get the grilled cheese.

Nothing but bread burnt into oblivion. It was cooked so much the tiny bit of cheese between the slices of bread hardened. This was not edible. Unfortunately, I ordered it for delivery so I am out of luck.

Don’t place an online order after 8:45PM. Or 8:40PM for that matter. Came all the way from NJ just for this.

I got an average quality tuna melt from here. The sign advertising the tuna melt said it came with or without red onions. It said nothing about any up charge for them. In addition the person taking my order never mentioned any additional charge for the red onions. When I looked at my receipt I was charged $ 1.00 for what appeared to be 10 slivers of red onion. I don’t mind being charged for extras but nothing indicated that the onions were an extra. This deceptive tactic is why I give them 1 star.

Both my sandwich and my girlfriends were cold in the center. It was also 22 bucks for 2 drinks and 2 grilled cheese sandwiches. So yeah

I ordered delivery from here. Was hoping for a delicious Sunday meal. Fail. First off, the soup had been squished into my sandwich. I get its delivery, but take some care of your food. Crabby melt was okay to eat — but I would never order it again. Also, most of the crab dip was squished out of the sandwich. The worst part was my «sweetest thing» sandwich. Menu says it has Brie, mascarpone, chocolate, and raspberry preserve. Uh, there was barely any cheese and certainly NO chocolate chips. It was awful. The tomato soup was actually pretty good. But, seeing as all the other menu items did not fare well, I will never get it again. I would give it zero stars if I could.

I had a PayPal coupon to order some food with no minimum. Grilled Cheese & Co is cheap AND has free delivery so it was a no-brainer. I wasn’t sure if I wanted something sweet or savory, so I ordered the brie/chocolate/raspberry sandwich. Honestly, wasn’t expecting it to be that good. It was AMAZING. I had always thought, if I’m going to order in/eat out why would I get a sandwich that I can make at home? But Grill Cheese is so much better than anything I could make. Look forward to trying more!

Very casual atmosphere to get the comfort food you crave on a chilly day. Of course they have a selection of soups including tomato soup served with croutons.

I’ve only come here after a night out at the nearby bars, so it’s a good spot to get some drunchies since they are open late on the weekends. The staff have been all funny and friendly. I really do sympathize for them though. Imagine a bunch of hungry drunks repeatedly asking if their order is ready, when clearly their number hasn’t been called. The line can also be out the door some nights. Most recently, I had the Kickin BBQ Chicken grilled cheese. The chicken was a bit cold in the sandwich, but otherwise it was good. I’ve also heard things about the«secret menu.» Someone outside mentioned that I should try the Chicken Chesapeake, which isn’t on their normal posted menu. I felt awkward asking for it, but the cashier knew exactly what I meant. The Chicken Chesapeake was HUGE — tons of crabmeat, chicken, and cheese. My boyfriend and I split it and it we were both stuffed. The only thing was that it cost around $ 10-$ 11. I don’t think I could normally justify paying this much for a grilled cheese, but I guess I had a few too many. Also be sure to ask for a punch card — on your tenth visit you get a free grilled cheese! Also, if you check in with Unilocal you get 10% off your order(doesn’t work after midnight though).

I came here after comic con with my boyfriend. He said the other location was good, so why not. I got The Sweetest Thing(chocolate and cheese?) and it was awesome(yay)! The tomato bisque was also really good. Creamy, not too spicy, and just perfect. The place is charming on the inside. I really like it here, so will you.
