Food Depot

Food Depot is one of those supermarkets in Baltimore, that for some people, you go to early before everyone gets up because of the «area» its located in. That being said, because l am comfortable venturing in and around Baltimore City, so it doesn’t pose a problem for me.
This market has always been my go to spot to purchase fresh Hake fish (steakfish for those in the know) when l feel a little cheat meal of fried steakfish, homefries and cornbread. There are always good sales for all sorts of items and the prepared food and deli always have competitive prices on food items.
They have another location on Belair Rd. just at the top of E. North Ave. for folks that may feel more comfortable shopping there. Both of the stores are clean and well stocked. There is plenty of off street parking at both locations.
I never go here and just come out with the one or two items l came to get! Lol! If you are feeling a bit adventurous, give them a visit at their Frederick Rd. Store and if not, the Belair Rd location is equally good.
