Our third visit(in late August 2015) convinced us this restaurant is serious about earning a place in Baltimore. The menu has been reworked, adding more choices. The«small plates» have grown in size and shrunk in price. Cocktail prices have dropped a bit. A lot of changes for somewhere that’s only been open about 8 weeks. We’ve stayed with the small plates, though the entrées look tempting. This is a great place to go when you’ve had it with the usual pub food. Dishes here are original, each with several creative twists on the underlying classic. On our most recent visit, we had the lamb meatball sliders. This item had replaced the«mediterranean meatballs» we’d had on a prior visit. We expected 2 sliders. There were 4. And, a side of homemade potato«chips». Many restaurants would have called this an entrée. It was $ 10 or $ 12. The wine list has many interesting choices at very reasonable prices. Not the usual suspects. The staff knew the list and helped us make a good choice. Corfu has quickly become a regular destination for us on Federal Hill.

When an old friend from grad school popped into work for a visit, I had my excuse to try this new restaurant. We took advantage of the 4−7pm happy hour, and I was impressed with the quality of the bar. The beer and wine selection is good(other bars in the ‘hood will have a more extensive beer selection, tho), and the mixed drinks list is extensive. The Greek wine was a treat for me — I’d like to go back and try another variety. For food we got the calamari, mussels, and beef short ribs. All of it was great, and my friend said the short ribs reminded him of how his Mom cooked them! The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and perfect for having a conversation. The community really needs this place and I know where I am taking guests in the future.

Small plates and delicious. Cocktails were also very good. We also had the baclava for dessert and it was some of the best we have ever had. The ambiance is very nice and Corfu is definitely a place we will be retuning to.

An incredible experience! I can’t give this place enough stars! The invitation of Corfu took us by surprise as we thought it would be «just another Fed Hill bar». We had a variety of different tapas: pork belly, muscles, green beans, and shrimp. Everything was incredible and after meeting the head chef, we heard how particular he was with where he ordered his ingredients. Muscles are from Newfoundland, which as some of the largest that you can get nowadays. The cocktails were out of this world! We had the opportunity to meet the guy hired to design all of the cocktails and he made a few for us off the menu. He is no longer there but Kim is the best bartender there by far! We are always greeted by the Greek owner who obviously takes great pride in making his customers happy and only hires people who take pride in what they do. We come back and bring friends at least once a week and they always take care of us. I really hope this place succeeds here. Definitely a diamond in the rough!

My boyfriend and I were excited to try out Corfu, the new addition to Federal Hill. Overall, if you are looking for a nice, small, overpriced tapas restaurant, this is a great place to go. But if you are hungry and not feeling $ 30+ a person, don’t bother. When we first walked it we were super pleased, the atmosphere is great, it is super airy, light and sophisticated. You can’t tell at all that this used to be Crazy Lil’s. This is definitely the highlight of the restaurant. I had looked ahead of time on Unilocal at the menu and the prices. Corfu has now been open 6 weeks, so there has been an update to the menu. The main difference is the prices. All the dips(previously $ 6) were now $ 7. Almost all other small plates or salads were a minimum of $ 12 and they added a new entrée section where prices ranged from $ 20 – 26. The most expensive item was the lamb shank at $ 26(on the previous menu this was $ 22). They also had a beer, wine and coctail list. The wines were $ 9 – 14 a glass and the cocktails were all $ 12 each. We both orded a coctail, the Corfu and the Greek Mai Thai and shared the meatball small plate(lamb meatballs with marinara sauce and feta). The drinks were both okay(maybe we chose poorly) but took so long our food came out first! The meatballs were good, but lived up to their small plate name. For $ 12 there were only 4, an inch in diameter each. Tasty, but if you came here for dinner, even if you weren’t hungry, you would definitely need at least 2 small plates a person to be anywhere near satisfied. Overall we found the drinks okay, but the same price as Bookmakers(which is right next door) and not as good. The food was good but very overpriced for the portion size.

Went there for dinner last night. Took friends from out of town. We had to cut the meal short and leave because the restaurant was out of every item on the menu-there was nothing to order… huge disappointment

This place is very cozy and chic it’s such a great place to come unwind and have a good time. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable. They way they take their time crafting the cocktails and the presentation of the food is amazing I have nothing bad to say about the place!

The boy and I ate at Corfu yesterday evening. It is one of the best Greek restaurants I have eaten in. The shrimp saganaki is outstanding. The gyro is different from the common with a pita that has spices in it and was excellent. We also shared Tzatziki and a cheese and olive board. And dessert of baklava was top notch. The waiter was great and very nice and pleasant. We’ll be going back!

A girlfriend of mine and I got together for an impromptu weeknight dinner and we decided to try out Corfu as we had heard it just opened up. The interior is beautiful! The minty/blueish walls and décor all flow well together. The bathroom was really classy and clean too. Our hostess seated us and did a great job explaining some of her menu items before introducing us to our server. We went off some of the recommendations and started with the hummus(served with house-made pita), asparagus(a little salty to my tasting, but I could always ask for less salt in the future), and shrimp saganaki(really yummy with 3 jumbo shrimp). We added on the roasted eggplant too. All in all, the food was really fresh, rich in taste, and delicious. Hopefully more people will learn about Corfu and give it a try. I’ll definitely be back… I want to try the pork belly entrée. Nom.

Hubs & I returned for dinner & everything was delish! We shared the Hummus, Tzatziki, Pork Belly, Shrimp Saganaki, & Gyro. I ordered the Cucumber Lemonade again, but this time it was served with a dusting of cracked pepper, which I did not care for. We will definitely be back again to try more items!

Great new addition to the neighborhood! The interior was very well done, differing from all the other Bro bars in federal hill. Still need to work out a few kinks(it’s only been open about a week), but very excited to have a new place to add to our dinner/bar list! Food was A+, service was A+, can’t wait to go back!

There’s a couple of Mediterranean places in Fed Hill, but Corfu differs by offering tapas/small plates instead of large entrees. Corfu replaced Crazy Lil’s and is located near Cross Street Market. Inside there is a large, beautiful bar and lots of high top tables. I’ve also seen that they open the large glass doors on nice nights. My three girlfriends and I came by for dinner and were warmly greeted. Here’s what we ordered: Taramosalata — This was a dip made of salted carp roe, lemon, potato and garlic confit served with fresh pita. This dip was a little forgettable. I wished it was a little thicker instead of thin and watery. I probably would have preferred getting the hummus. Souvlaki — This was like a little greek pizza. It was a pita topped with marinated chicken, cucumbers, lettuce, tomatoes, feta cheese and tzatziki. This was flavorful and tasty! I just wish they cut the pita into slices since it was a little tough to cut and share. Gyro — Another greek pizza. Basically the same thing as the Souvlaki, except with marinated lamb meat and the pita bread was spicier due to the cayenne pepper inside. This was my favorite item we ordered! The gyro and the Souvlaki were both the largest tapas so if you’re hungry I’d recommend ordering it. Saganaki — This was grilled Kaseri cheese flambéed table-side served with pita bread. The cheese was really gooey and went perfectly with the pita. I would definitely order this again. Octopus — Comes with about 3 pieces of beer battered octopus with a yellow-pepper sauce drizzled on top. The sauce was really tasty on top, but I probably would opt for something else next time since it was one of the pricier dishes and didn’t come with as much. Overall, the food was tasty and came out quickly. And service was great as well. Just be prepared to spend a lot if you’re hungry since the dips are $ 6 and the tapas range from $ 9 — $ 14(and $ 22 for the lamb chops). I hope they offer a happy hour deal on tapas in the future, but I’d definitely come back.
