I ordered delivery at 2:45p on a weekday. It took almost an hour and a half to arrive, which was entirely too long. I’d ordered white meat General Tso’s chicken and spring rolls. The spring rolls were decent, but the General Tao’s was mostly breading and doubtfully white meat. It was full of tiny pieces of mostly soggy breading with no real flavor. This was the quality I would expect on a cheap all you can eat buffet, not an entrée of almost $ 10. I will not order from here again.

After placing my delivery order, and receiving a confirmation on my order, my husband and I waited for over an hour for our food. The food finally arrived after 70 minutes. I answered the phone, my husband went to get the food from the driver. The driver refused to give my husband the food. Even after giving him my name, phone number and the contents of the order. He bickered with him about whether the egg rolls were pork or shrimp and swore my husband said 529 instead of 509 when confirming my number… took nearly five minutes to get the food. Food was great but my husband should not have had to hassle for five minutes to get our order we just waited 70 minutes for…

I have no complaints about the three delivery orders received from this restaurant. The food is as acceptable as any put out by other Chinese restaurants; so far, I haven’t ordered anything that I didn’t like. Usual orders include the PuPu platter, Large Shrimp Lo Mein, and the General Tso’s Chicken. The delivery time is beyond awesome; much sooner than other restaurants in the area that I use. The assistance provided by Unilocal is very good; the doorbell rings, I take my food, and go about my business.

This restaurant is pretty good! Today was my first time ordering here, and the food was all great at an incredibly low price, even for dinner. I ordered General Tso’s chicken(with pork fried rice and egg roll), wonton soup, chicken w/broccoli, and Kung Pao chicken. As a general description, the food is good but slightly bland. The flavors are simple, and that’s the reason for 4 stars. No, it’s not the best«Chinese» food I’ve ever had, but it’s much better than local competition at a much cheaper price. If you like Sriracha or any other flavorings, have them on hand and the food will be delicious! My only complaint is that the Gen Tso’s chicken was too sweet, but nothing a little soy sauce couldn’t fix. It’s worth mentioning that nothing I ordered today is genuine Chinese food; they’re cooking for Americans, and we generally like sweet. You can always ask for less sweet chicken. Normally I don’t write a review after one visit; this restaurant is in need of one however. If my impression changes with time, I will update to reflect those changes.

We ordered from here on GrubHub when our regular spots were all closed due to a storm. While it’s great that they came out to deliver anyway, and were quite fast with delivery, the food was really not that good. We ordered the General Tso’s chicken(white meat version) and a large wonton soup. The wonton soup wasn’t bad — it needed a bunch of Sriracha to add some more flavor, but it was about what you’d expect from your usual delivery Americanized Chinese restaurant. The General Tso’s, however, was battered in what tasted like some kind of dessert batter. It almost tasted like donuts. Even with more heat added to the sauce, it was just way too sweet. The chicken was also overcooked(alright, yeah, that’s better than undercooked) and so stringy that when re-warmed for leftovers it was too dry to eat. I wanted to like these guys, they were so friendly and quick about delivering! I just wish the food was better!

My family calls this place for delivery every Christmas. This is our tradition. Chinese for Christmas dinner. Our bill is usually $ 75– $ 100. Our order is for 8 – 10 people. Every year, they let the non fluent employee take the order. Every year as placing the order and getting frustrated, the phone is then passed to the fluent employee. Every year, we have to tell them that we are due a discount due to the cost of our order. Every year, they pretend to have hearing inabilities and try to push free 2 canned sodas on us. Every year, we have to tell them a 10% discount is customary. Every year they pretend to not hear and then try to push a 2 liter. Every year. Why do we allow ourselves this dance of frustration every year? I don’t know. We are gluttons for punishment. I’m not sure of the state of the establishment as we make this order over the phone for delivery, but… The order always is correct. They give us paper plates. The food is good, hot. They use really nice take out containers. The delivery comes quickly. Outside of the very painful phone call to place the order, which hearing what we said, then understanding it and repeating it accurately can be a challenge, we can’t complain. Will I call them again? Well, I HAVE to. It’s my family’s Christmas tradition and who breaks tradition? Not I.
