In my opinion, this is the most ideal place to get coffee on the Johns Hopkins campus! Alkimia has the best tasting coffee and espresso with the cheapest prices (it’s cheaper than Daily Grind). I would suggest trying their Earl Grey Brownie! It’s delicious and a great complement to any beverage. However, the food is a little pricier.

I may have suggested in another review that The Spro had the best coffee in Baltimore.
This is a false statement when one tastes the coffee here. A sister café to Azafran this is located in a corner in the prestigious humanities center at Hopkins.
They have excellent empanadas, great baked goods which they get from all over baltimore. Exceptional staff and if you’re near Hopkins, you have to start giving these people your money in exchange for high quality edibles/​coffee.
