So I had a layover in Baltimore and was like great what am I going to do for 3 hours? Then I saw this massage place. They offered mani pedis too but it was $ 78 and I was worried it might not be worth it(plus I only saw one guy working there so I was thinking mmmmm I dunno if I trust this guy for my nails) anyways I got a 20 minute massage on the chair and honestly it was really nice! Rather than do an all over massage where the whole back is done at the same time, like as they go up or down, he focused on certain muscles in detail. So instead of running down your spine, he would focus section on section. It was relaxing and I could see spending a few hours here if I had the cash and just having myself a relaxing moment. Plus I thought it would be crazy expensive but really it wasn’t bad at all. 20 minutes was 40 dollars– and I think that’s pretty fair. Check it out!

You guys. I get to travel a lot for work. I get to put all my meals and transportation on my company card. So, when I travel, my treat to myself is airport massage. I’ve had massages at xpress spa, the Massage Bar, and even this location of Be Relax. But I’ve never had an airport massage that has made me think, «I can’t wait to fly through here again!» That is, until I met TT at the Baltimore airport. TT is the first airport massage therapist(and she *is* a therapist) who has paid attention to my particular issues and worked hard to get my knots to submit. She identified a place on my leg that was causing foot pain without me telling her I even had pain, and her pointy elbows kept finding their way to the tightest spots on my back. I’ve seen her twice now, and will pass by each time I go through BWI to see if she is working!

Matt is my new best friend! I had a 20 minute chair massage. The best I’ve EVER had. Fixed my travel/computer neck!

Why is Be Relax(or something similar) not at every airport!?! My flight was delayed and, instead of sitting at the gate ticked-off, I was able to enjoy a manicure – which was on my to-do list once I got to my destination anyhow. Not only was Be Relax convenient, my technician Tiffany did a fantastic job(took even extra time since my flight got delayed a bit longer :)) and the pricing was very similar to other nail salons in DC. The«Express Mani» was $ 21 with tax, I believe. Note, they offer regular or express mani and/or pedis, as well as shellac versions. The express can be done within 15min. They have Opi products(which I like). Also, they have massages and waxing available too.

My wife and I had 30 minutes to spare on a US Airways flight in Terminal D of BWI. We were waited on right away and both got back massages. This was an up and back day flight and I slept most of the way due to Be Relax. Perfect pressure. I wish these guys were everywhere! Definitely worth the money and it was great that we could say exactly how much time we had and both get terrific massages. Four thumbs way up.
