This review is for summer softball. This is my first year playing with the BSSC and I’m kicking myself for not signing up years ago. The ability to be outside in Patterson Park and play softball while drinking beer without having to worry about being cited for an open container is a great experience. Whether you win or lose doesn’t really matter, it’s all about the experience and the socializing. When you’re finished the game drinking doesn’t stop. Make sure you get down to one of the bars that sponsors the BSSC and you’ll find a colorful display of BSSC shirts from other teams. You’re bound to make a lot of new friends during the course of the season.

I belonged to BSSC for 2 years when I used to live in Charm City and my friends and I always had a great time. The sports scene in Baltimore is very competitive and you are always running into people you haven’t seen in years. Mike Cray has done an outstanding job or making this club an event every week for the league you play in.
Whether its volleyball, softball, kickball, etc all the leagues are fun and competitive with an emphasis on FUN!!!
