7 well maintained sand volleyball courts located right on the water! What more could you ask for to play volleyball… They have drop-in play on the weekends and league games throughout the week. Cost is on par with any other league and you tend to play a lot of games during the season.

A pretty amazing sports league right in the Inner harbor. An easy bike ride, walk, or water taxi from all the meccas of young urban professionals, this is the place to be May-October. The mass amounts of fit people can be a little intimidating, but tons of 20’s-30’s(a few older).(MANY single) city dwellers(and some suburbanites) playing beach volleyball throughout the day and evening. The Baltimore Beach Volleyball team also often organizes outings or grill parties. It’s a great way to meet new people, though leagues can often be hard to get into. They need to expand to more courts, but the location can’t be beat in terms of accessibility.

With a view of the Inner Harbor, this has an awesome view of the Baltimore Skyline while getting in some volleyball. My friend invited me out to sub since he was short a player and enjoyed my first time out here. Granted the weather was beautiful and the sand was awesome. I was thinking the sand was going to be nasty, but its premium sand that the courts are filled with. There are about 6 courts and different leagues from 2’s, 4’s, and Coed. It’s like the Volleyball House but outdoors :) You can park at the Rusty Scupper lot and get your ticket validated at the tent and just pay $ 4 for parking.
