I wanted to have my nails done at this place. I was greeted by the girl up front and she asked what I needed done I started to tell her I wanted a full set when she and another employee started to go back and forth with each other… I walked out after a couple of minutes just too much drama for me already and I didn’t get a chance to say what I needed I will never step foot into this place ever again

I ponder on writing bad reviews before I commit to it and this has to be done. I was in the bmore area with my sister and we needed to prep for an interview so figured, hey let’s go get our nailllllsss did. Lol. So we go here bc they were open until 9. Not 10 like Unilocal says fyi. Walk in and the front receptionist was very kind no complaints. Disclaimer it was 8pm when we came in so I asked if I could get a pedicure and a gel manicure done. They said of course and gave me the longest list of pedicure options ever. I chose one that was 45 $ was supposed to come with legs mask, stone massage, paraffin dip, 5 min massage. I got a Latino lady, not sure of her name. She had a badge with no name. She was kind as well, but my sister got the same pedicure as me and I’m sitting here wondering why I’m so far ahead of her. How is my 5 min massage like 2? Aaaaaand how did I get no callous remover? Is it bc my heels are baby soft and I didn’t need it? I didn’t know. She used the pumice so I thought that was the case. False. I got home and my heels ARE rough. I felt she went through the pedicure way too fast so she could get to my nails in time. Which brings me to my nails. I was cut with the cuticle clipper thing at least four times, like to the point I was bleeding. To the point I started inquiring about the equipment and how often it was sterilized bc I was and still am worried i contracted ebola while getting a manicure. I will say she shaped the nails well and it’s 4 days later and it’s not peeling, which it shouldn’t be. So my bill was 75 $ and although I knew that was the price and usually pay the same amount I had a REAL problem paying this for this service. My issue is they should have said there isn’t enough time to do both or asked me to pick one of the shorter manicures instead of rushing through and sacrificing the quality and well, the safety of their work. We had gone to nail trix in canton first, and they turned us away for a pedicure bc they closed at 8 and didn’t want to do a poor job. I respect that. I didn’t cause a scene bc I felt it was partially my fault for going so late. My nails look ok but my feet look like I did them. The more I reflected though, and looked at the scabs on my cuticles, and rough heels… I had to review. I would pick another nail salon. They shouldn’t sacrifice the quality of their work just to get the money. I feel totally ripped off. I barely write poor reviews sooooo, I’m just saying… be careful if you go here. I also didn’t SEEM them open sterilization packets. That’s not to say it didn’t happen. I was rather wrapped up in my convo and should have asked before the maming began…

You can walk in and get immediate service. I come to get my feet taking care of and Amanda is the best. She takes special care of my feet. She doesn’t rush through the services!
