My husband and I just had a deck built by Abbey-Fritz Fence Co. Everything went beautifully, from our first meeting with the extremely knowledgeable Brian Kish to the installation of the final piece of lattice work under our deck. The price was quite reasonable – we got three estimates. Our finished deck is beautiful! As an extra benefit, the crew was easy to have around for eight days and even the noise level was minimal. I highly recommend Abbey-Fritz.

I will start off by saying that over the years I have had a lot of work done on the houses I have owned and no business compares to this one! Everything was seamless! I would like to call out Austen Reynolds for his awesome customer service skills. Every step of the way he was very clear in communicating what was going on with my fencing project. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. They are reasonably priced and offer something so rare these days… great customer service!!!

The install went fine except for some moldy fencing which was later removed by power-washing fence. My problem started with my salesman after install. I was quoted a price for an add-on to the and was told it needed to be manufactured at their headquarters and that it would take 3 hours. I was given very detailed information about how long and how complicated this add-on was. Well, when they can to do install the workers built and installed add-on in 20 minutes. I felt that I had been deliberately mislead by the salesman to pad the final bill and this was not what I had signed the contract for. It was problematic dealing with the salesman because he denied ever telling me the story about manufacturing time and difficulty. So here is where the biggest problem for me starts, after speaking with the salesman I decide to contact a manager to convey my issues. I speak with a secretary and specifically state that I am having a problem with a salesman and need to speak with a manager. I later get a call from the salesman that I had the problem with. I call back and get same secretary and again ask to speak to a manager and she transfers me to salesman AGAIN! After a third call someone else answers and transfers me to the general manager. The general manager showed little to no concern over the secretary’s actions and did not even ask or show concern over issues with the salesman. I was still upset and confused on why this company provided no customer service when there were issues so I sent the following email to the GM: I recently recontacted your company after having a fence installed looking for an estimate and spoke to a female receptionist. I specifically asked for a manager because I had problems with my salesman XXXXXXXXXXXX. I was very clear that I did not want to speak to XXXX but your secretary took it upon herself to connect me with him anyway. She actually transferred me directly to xxxx. I find it highly unusual that a secretary went in exact opposition of my request to speak to a manager and went out of her way to do so. Is this how your business handles complaints? I also find it unusual that when speaking to you that you exhibited no concern or interest in a complaint over one of your employees. I’m not sure I can recommend or do business with anyone that doesn’t handle their customers concerns professionally. I have never received a follow up email or phone call from anyone at Abbey Fence and based on this can never recommend this company to anyone. I’m not sure if they ignore me because they have already been paid or the just don’t care. Regardless I do not trust them and would never do business with them again.

They did a nice job with the fence I had repaired at work. They showed-up when they said they would with 8 guys and had the job done in a matter of hours. A little high on the price, but I needed the job done.
