Bellacino’s Pizza & Grinders

Went for a field trip with my kids. Owner was super kind and patient with all the children. We got a tour of the kitchen and all of us got to make our own personal pizzas. We will be going back as a family soon. Very reasonable pricing and super pizza.

This place is amazing. I began working nearby and stopped in for some pizza. The staff are very friendly and the pizza is absolutely delicious. I have been there three times in three weeks. I’m addicted! Way to go Bellacino’s!!!

I LOVED this place. It was my first time here today and I had the Sicilian pizza with mushroom and pineapples. The crust was SO thick and crispy !! I was in heaven. They’re Greek salad was good too. Everyone in my family loves the food. I will definitely come back !!!

Great pizza though make sure you are ready for mozzarella cheese, there is a tone of it on the pizzas. The grinders are so huge a small will be filling anything larger will give you leftovers. Lots of seating and never a wait.

Pizza was hot, crust was amazing, and the toppings tasted great. This place has a grinder (sandwich) menu that will make your brain explode trying to make a decision on one. Sandwiches was also very flavorful and the bread they use is top notch. Very friendly guy working the counter and the place was spotless. In a shopping center that looks like it fell on hard times in the recession but don’t let that make your decision. This place is a hidden gem.

I love this place and have not had a bad sandwich. My low score is of delivery. I had the manager come in to promote their delivery service and he left their menu. So, today I ordered. Never thought it would be an hour and ten minutes for one sandwich, 2 bags of chips, and 2 sodas. In all fairness, at the time of ordering, I was told it would be 45 to an hour for delivery. What I am disappointed with, if u come into the business to promote delivery, should have adequate help. This order was placed at 3:15 in the afternoon, so not the height of rush hour. When received it was 4:25. At our work place we order lunch in often. As much as I love Bellicinios. If one sandwich takes over an hour, I think we will stick to Jimmy Johns, they are freaky fast and good. I can t even imagine how long a pizza would take. Lol. Almost considered ordering a pizza for home last night, glad we didn’ t. Not sure how many hours a pizza would take. Guessing if one sandwich takes over an hour then pizza may take a few hours. Guess better to order at least day before to make meal time. Best bet don t order delivery, faster to drive from anywhere in a 50 mile radius and go to store for carry out. We were maybe 2 to 3 miles from the restaurant and took over an hour.

I really like this place. We have dined in many times and also used their delivery service. I always get the light sandwiches. They have always been good. Their South County location is good too.

We had this delivered tonight for the first time and it did not disappoint. They put tons of cheese on it, which I love! Will definitely be ordering again in the future.

I’m surprised about the bad reviews. Whenever in St Louis, I come to this place at least once.
They are courteous with fast service, their pizzas are great.

I would give no stars if that is the option. Both times we have been the have failed to get the order correct or timely. This time when we had to go to the counter to ask where our food is the manager started to yell at my wife until most patrons stopped to watch. They found our pizza that had sat on the warmer for over 20 minutes. Pizza was fair at best. If you go bring your lawyer or a police officer

Went here on a Saturday afternoon. Found it from Unilocal.Location is horrible. I am sure they never get a drive by customer. Food was ok. Nothing great but nothing notable.

Nothin fancy but great pizza and typical pizzeria atmosphere.
We ordered a side salad that was very oversized, but fresh and tasted just fine.
We ordered pretzel bites as an appetizer– they won’t come recommended. I think they were just zapped in the microwave.
But the pizza was great, it’s thin crust, 12 inch was more than enough for 2 people. Very good, just tasted like a perfect pepperoni pizza. It came out pretty fast.
We will be back!

I believe some Bellacino’s locations have a waitstaff. At this one, you just order at the counter and seat yourself. They bring your food out when it’s ready, and you get your own refills at the soda fountain.
You can view the menu for this location on their website. (Menus vary slightly from location to location). However, on their «General Restaurant Menu» page, they offer nutritional information for their food. I like that because I sometimes want to know how many calories I’m consuming.
I’m usually pretty boring here. They have light versions of about five of their grinders. On these, they replace regular cheese and mayo with fat-​free cheese and mayo. I typically get the half (9″) Veggie Light, and I order it without mayo. It’s served as an open-​faced sandwich. One piece of bread is covered in cheese, and the other is topped with mushrooms, green bell peppers, lettuce, tomatoes and onions. However, sometimes there’s a little cheese beneath the veggies as well. It’s probably the least caloric and most uninteresting grinder you can get there, and while I’m eating it, I constantly gaze upon their menu and fantasize about eating something more sinful.
One day I said, «You know what? I’m going to order off the regular menu!» I had been dying to try the half Pizza grinder. Once I got there, I went even crazier and made it a combo with a drink and a side of their baked fries. And I didn’t stop there! I added bacon to my grinder!
The last time I had any kind of pizza and fries was in my high school cafeteria. If your school is/​was anything like mine, you completely understand how baffling it is that anyone could ever possibly manage to make pizza and fries taste disgusting. It remains a mystery to me, and I’m honestly surprised that I would ever risk reminding myself of high school by choosing to make a meal of those two items again.
But I’m glad I did. It was so good! It was one of those meals that I’d really like to have again. Like the Veggie Light, the Pizza grinder is served open-​faced. I kept it like that, and it was sort of like having two French bread pizzas all to myself. I sort of had expected to get strips of bacon on my grinder, but it was crumbled bacon. That worked out well because it helped to distribute the bacon-​y goodness. I loved the fries, too! They were crispy, just as I like them. Though, I ended up sharing them because I had plenty to eat with my grinder.
Maybe this was truly great food. Maybe I loved it because it was a nice alternative to the «diet food» I normally get here. Give Bellacino’s a try, and decide what you think. In addition to grinders, they also have pizza, pasta, and salads. By the way, the grinders are served with a pickle. I happen to enjoy pickles, but if they aren’t your thing, you might want to request yours without one. Enjoy! :)

Delicious. Their pizza is amazing, the bread is light and fluffy and crunchy all at the same time. The cheese is the perfect melty mass and they don’t skimp on toppings. Reasonably priced and super fast carry out.

I wish you could give a place ⁰⁄₅ stars, because that’s how many people would eat here. There are much better places to get pizza at. The food is meh in my opinion, but the owners are what makes it awful. I came in with my toddler to get some food and we got to witness the owners taking our tips and pocketing it. Classy! I left that for the people who made my food, not you. While we were there, we also got to witness one of the apparent owners talking to an employee like she was the boss in the Devil Wears Prada. How do they have employees here?! Don’t waste your money. I wouldn’t eat here again if it was the last pizza joint in the world. Seriously grossed out.

The pizza is fantastic!!! Got a meat lovers pizza for work and we devoured it! Great price too and the owner is very sweet :)

Great sandwiches! Had the house special grinder. The bread is so good! The Italian
Sub was also really good! Would come back again if in the area. In the same area as the Home Depot. Worth looking for

This Bellacino’s (like several others as I think about it) is tucked away and hidden by a big Home Depot and Sports Authority. So hidden that I often forget about it as a lunch option. When I remember, though, I’m usually not disappointed. As with their other locations, it is very clean and welcoming, and they have a very extensive menu. I haven’t had a sandwich that I didn’t like, and though I only rarely get the pizza, I’ve also been very happy with it. I also like that they do a lunch menu «meal deall» Overall, a very good place to eat — once you find it.

Pizza and Subs. I actually prefer Bellacino’s over the other toasted sub shops. There is definitely a better variety and taste. They do cater as well. The 9″ grinder was more than enough for me.
Overall pretty good for a chain subshop.
