I had a Groupon for this. Scheduled the cleaning for today. I had a Groupon carpet cleaning last year so I figured I knew what to expect. Immediately one of the workers says that the Groupon is just for a «surface» clean, or something similar. Says we need a «deep clean». That we have spots 1, 3,4,5 etc.(In reality the carpets are actually in pretty good shape, yes they need a cleaning that’s why I hired this guy.) I ask, «what will be the cost» He keeps giving his speech. I ask again what is the cost. He then realizes that I am probably not going to buy the upgrade. He then starts yelling at me. I ask for the price a third time. It is obvious that this is just a bait and switch. I understand up selling, but that’s not what this was. I had to threaten to call the police to get him to leave. I thought he was going to fight me in my own house. This guy is just using Groupon to get into your house to sell you something else. Something a lot more expensive. Finally he said it would be another $ 90. For $ 90 plus the $ 39 Groupon price I could hire just about anybody to clean three rooms. Total rip off. I asked him to refund my money but he refused. I have an email into Groupon.

Thanks for your«CORRECT» message. Is that the key if you have 2pm or 1~4pm appointment? If you have the recorder for our phone conversation, you will know who tell you the truth.

Overall, they were very professional and did a great job cleaning the ducts. Obviously, that is why I had them out. I more so have an issue with two other things. 1. They disconnected my humidifier and then told my wife to have an HVAC contractor out to reconnect it. This adds another $ 100 to the bill. 2. I bought a groupon for $ 59 that they advertised as a ‘whole-house” air duct cleaning and that it was up to a $ 333.95 value”. I did some research and thought that wa stoo good to be true, but I was not expecting it to be a world away from the truth. On top of the«$ 333.95» value, It ended up costing $ 770.00 for the cleaning. So basically, they advertise $ 59 and it cost an additional $ 770.00. I would say that is boarderline bait and switch really and found it extremely misleading. Just expect to spend far above and beyond any advertised price.
