Malta urgent care staff was good and curtious to my needs. Except for one woman who took my blood pressure ect. Her name is Wendy .H. She is rude and loud. She was going on and on about her daughter’s 2nd baby’s father. She is unprofessional and shouldn’t be working in a place like that. She should be focusing on the patients rather then her personal feelings and personal life.

Will never go here again. Went in on Thursday night because my son had a terrible rash, was treated as if we were scum. Told we weren’t cleaning him properly and this was why he had«diaper rash»(he’s 5 years old) Called his pediatrician the next day, he had a severe case of Strep infection, both in his throat and on his body in the rash. The pediatricians office is filing a complaint with their board and I have filed a complaint with my insurance company and the management. I would NEVER recommend seeing any doctor. My son could have become so much worse if I truly believed what this doctor was saying.

Took the husband here this morning. We arrived at 7.45 and he was taken straight to a room. By 8.30, they had taken blood, hooked him to an IV and the doctor had been in. Her first theory was correct, so he had to drink contrast liquid and wait 2 hours for a CAT scan. Every person there was so nice that it was shocking. The facility is new, clean and modern. Even with the 2 hour wait for the contrast to do it’s job, he was out of there by 11.30 with prescriptions and tons of information on his diagnosis.

I had an eye injury, and I called Malta Med to ask if they had specific equipment on site, as suggested by my optometrist(I was out of state, so could not see my optometrist). They assured me that they did when I called. First thing the following morning, my brother led me to checkin as I could not open my eyes, and I asked again prior to registration if they had a particular piece of equipment, a contact bandage, and they assured me that they did. The doctor expressed surprise as they have no such equipment and told me I had a corneal scratch but not on my main field of vision. I could not open my eyes(either eye) to care for my two small children — I got a ride to my home state and the optometrist diagnosed me with two corneal scratches across my main field of vision, my pupil, and immediately upon application of the contact bandage I got relief and was able to see again as the bandage held the wound closed while my pupil expanded and contracted. I was 4 hours from home and had no way to supervise my two young children, aged 1 and 3. Had Malta given me correct information, I would have sought the care of an optometrist instead of their substandard care.

Stay away from this place. My wife just spent over three hours sitting in a room without seeing a doctor! She finally got fed up and left and then the doctor(dr chow) was rude and abusive to her on the way out! Disgraceful way to treat people(dr chow)! Shame on you!!! If they were busy you could understand waiting that long but there was no reason to be ignored that long!!! Either hire better qualified doctors or staff the place better to give better service! Never again!!!

Went there about a month ago on a Friday night. Everyone was friendly. I got right in and the doctor took great care of me. The nurses we very nice. Was out in less than an hour. They accepted what my insurance paid them. Nothing out of pocket. I nearly 100% healed from a severe laceration. I highly recommend!!!
