This business owner never provided me with references when I requested them. He told me to talk to the company that brings my propane, for a large electrical job (?) who he is friends with. I asked for the name of actual customers, which he refused to provide me with. He also didn’t save me money on anything since he was never hired for the job. Any contractor who won’t give you references without hesitation is hiding something, period.
