A Great Neighborhood Bar We stopped by around 5pm on a weekday to check out The Office. No other customers were in the bar so we got to talk to the owner Tom at length. We ordered food and both had a pint of beer while we got to know Tom and the story behind The Office name. My husband had The Office Burger. It was cooked perfectly to his order and seasoned well on a delicious brioche roll. Onions, tomato and lettuce were crispy and fresh. We also ordered the Sampler Platter. It was properly cooked, hot and what you would expect from a basket of yummy fried food. We will definitely be back to have a pint… maybe on Taco Trivia Tuesdays. If you go: check out family photos and the story of The Office on the wall opposite the bar

Just opened in May 2015 as The Office Bar and Grill. With the ND football on several tv’s and cordial welcome from Shawn, I felt like I had been here before! Owners Lisa and Tom must’ve known everyone in the place, or made it a point to get acquainted. It’s a friendly Cheers-type atmosphere with a lot of sports stuff to catch you eye. After a PBR Tallboy, I tried a «secret» Bacon and Egg Cheeseburger with hand cut fries, well worth a try… I really enjoyed it. If you’re an Notre Dame fan you’ll find a lot of common ground here. Go Irish! We’ll be back.
