This small Liquor store is located in a strip mall in the Best Buy Shopping Center along Sunrise Highway. Dave is the owner and «wine expert» of this relatively small shop that does stock most of the well known brands of wine and liquors, along with plenty of inexpensive makers as well as a small group of Long Island wines. Additionally TNT sells cold liquor and wine from a refrigerator in the rear of the store.
I am not a drinker, but required a «good» white wine for a recipe. I had picked out what I felt was the correct wine which was about $ 14.00 for the bottle, not bad. When I asked Dave which wine he recommended for cooking I was steered toward an inexpesive «off brand» that only cost $ 4.99. Although I appreciate his efforts to save me money. In the end the lesser wine I felt affected the dish I cooked and in hindsight should have went with my gut. I question how much of an expert he really is because there is more to wine the finding the cheapest one or the bang for your buck.
