Definitely don’t call looking for delivery either, unless you have 2 hours to spare.

Absolutely the BEST sandwiches on Long Island. So many choices. My personal favorites are the Simple Simon and the Roast Beef. The eggplant is great as well. But then again you really can’t go wrong with any of them. Very friendly staff. Great for catering also.

Best deli in Baldwin Harbor! Consistently thick awesome sandwiches… my favorite there is simply cream cheese and extra bacon (best bacon ever) on a toasted egg bagel.
Moderate pricing for the quality product you receive. The owner is cool and always accomodating.
…Aside from finding a ½ inch screw in my hero I waited more than 15 minutes for yesterday (no visible construction was bring done?)… and despite the fact that there were more employees behind the counter than customers in the joint, which has been happening more and more often lately… (I only ordered a toasted bagel and a ham and cheese hero) it’s great!

Phenomenal deli. Definitely one of the best sandwiches I have eaten is here (although I can throw it down in the kitchen — expect my sandwich on the menu soon). Also, they have amazing consistency. You can order from anyone and expect your sandwich to come out the same way. The owner is great and very accommodating as well — he’s done a great job.

When I lived in Baldwin from 2008 to 2010, I went to Deli Boy on a regular basis (3 – 4 times a week). Their sandwiches are excellent, especially the Lumberjack (which I could not eat in one sitting). I usually went in there in the mornings and early afternoon, before the crowds. I recommend Deli Boy to anyone who lives in the area (or works or visits the area).

Great spot for a quick breakfast on the go. If your stopping in for lunch I highly recommend getting the Simple Simon, one of the best health conscious sandwiches available locally. great selection, fresh food. turnaround time is not painfully slow but if you know what you want to order you might be better off calling a few minutes before you get there in case they are busy. there is outdoor seating in the summer. the owner is usually there likes to «shoot the shit» if they are not too busy, hes a cool dude.

This place has been here for as long as I can remember, and I have been coming here for a decade. I always run through Atlantic ave, and this is on the way for me. They really do it right for a deli. Their breakfasts are spot-on, cooked as you asked, and they use quality ingredients which might sound silly, but you will be surprised at how many deli’s cheap out on simple stuff. My only complaint, which might sound like an oxymoron from my last statement is the cheap ketchup packets they use… I mean come on now really would it kill you to use Heinz, and not some cheap watery crap?
Today we were working by the boat and had breakfast, then came back for lunch. Simple as it sounds, they always get it right. Lunch was the same, they make solid sandwiches, and they prepare them right. No sloppy mess that falls apart as you eat it, just delicious goodness!
BTW, we call in the order ahead of time, so no waiting=).

Deli Boy. right down the block from my job. The chili is almost always great, as long as you get there early before the lunch rush starts and people start filtering all the meat out of it and you’re just left with a tomato/beef broth. haha.
The specialty sandwiches are pretty good for the most part — my favorite being «The Texan» modified with a garlic hero w/extra bacon and extra BBQ sauce. Pretty much a heart attack inducing lunch, but I gotta say. their bacon is so damn good! Thick cut and crispy!
If you’re in town. and craving Cherry Valley, but don’t wanna drive the distance, then this is the place to visit.

The current owner really turned this place around. Best deli in south baldwin. I’ve only had sandwiches and I can’t really complain. The service is slow because there is only 1 – 2 people behind the counter and one register, but it’s clean and the product is fresh.
