Closure reason: inadequate food temperature, adult cockroaches, no use of sanitizer in dishwasher I think that’s Strike 1, 2 and 3 for me. Get your act together.

Only ate at this place once and that’s all it took for me not to go back or recommend to anyone! The phó had a funny taste and on my way home I felt nauseous. Today this is what I come across!!! Don’t like leaving negative reviews but this one I need to share!!! Here are the food facilities that were temporarily closed. Unless otherwise noted, the grades listed for the facilities were received on the same day they were closed. * Phở Hai Noodle & Grill Location: 1638 Puente Ave., Baldwin Park, CA91706 Closure reason: inadequate food temperature, adult cockroaches, no use of sanitizer in dishwasher Closure date: Feb. 2 Reopen date: Feb. 5 Grade: B(80)

I wanted to order something to go. Looked at their menu and got confused. I was not very familiar with their menu, when I asked for help, they didn’t seem to happy to explain. Not very friendly at all. Anyway, when I finally ordered something, it was not what I thought I was ordering. I explained to her what I wanted, and still I got the wrong order. Other times I’ve gone in, I had my Vietnamese friend that works at the nail salon order for me by phone. I just go pick up.

Place is delicious! Always hard to choose between the phở or vermicelli. Staff has always been good to me, it’s also very clean inside. Youll see for yourself that everything I’m saying is true.

(Takeout experience) Ordered the broken rice plate with shrimp paste, shredded pork, and egg. Meh. Wasn’t really expecting much from this place honestly. My sister decided she wanted to try this place out because I guess it was closer? Phở Bo vien(meatball) — soup lacked flavor, beef ball were ok. Better than some places. I did happen to try this a little differently, since it wasn’t really my entrée. I poured a little soup over the noodles added some herbs and veggies. Put some lemon and drizzled a good amount of Sriracha and housin sauce. And it was actually pretty good. Spring rolls– the wrap for this was chewy. And it was not made fresh. The sauce for this wasn’t that great either. Contemplating what to say about this place, 3 stars for attentive staff. Ha.

Never disappoints, we’ve tried a variety of items, not just the Phở, everything is really good. It’s the best Phở in Baldwin Park/La Puente are by far. The service is always great, friendly and fast.

First time here, the phở is not too bad compare to other places I went to. I would come here again to try their shaking beef and rice.

Ever since I was introduced to Phở I longed for a solid spot close to my home. I hit the jackpot when I moved to La Puente and moved close to phở hai. It’s delicious, not too expensive 6 – 7 bucks for a bowl, and the environment is super chill. The phở is not greasy and the meats are fresh. They have all you would expect as well as a bunch of other non phở stuff. Great place check it out.

I love the #17 Raw beef phở. They make great spring rolls too! The staff is always welcoming and friendly. Being on a gluten free diet, the phở satisfies my need for noodles! This will be the 4th business who has leased out that spot in this center, and I am hoping this was is successful!

My boyfriend and i love looking for new places to try and i gotta say this place hasn’t let me down yet! Its literally 2 minutes from my house too! What more can you ask for! I always get the spring rolls and a number 21. The spring rolls are delicious with the peanut sauce, and the soup is just amazing. I have no complaints at all. Just that you guys got me and my boyfriend hooked haha this is our new spot!

The food is good. I came here because it’s the closest best tasting phở in BP and La puente area. I’ve been here about 3 times and each time I’ve gotten my food served pretty fast. I do love the Thai tea boba from here, very tasty with the right amount of sweetness. It’s also never crowded so you get seated right when you walk in which is a plus especially when you come in super hungry or hung over lol. I’d keep coming here

Every time I come here there’s always problems. I just called in to place an order and they said they had no rice. I said«ok, how long will it take?» Their response? «Oh, we have no cook right now.» When will the cook be in? «I don’t know». What kind of restaurant is this? Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

4.90418050113150633793883734016 Stars(For Rice Dishes only & Service) I dream about Phở, when I go to sleep. Though I am digging the rice dishes here, really diging them. Once again, I come to Phở Hai and I forget to order Phở. Though I do love the rice. Womp womp, I am lonely without my dear Phở Next time I check in, Phở!!! Song parody of Roxette’s 1990 song«It Must Have Been Love» I should have had Phở, I am hungry now Hear my heart sing, through the window Feel my Phở love, all around I wake up hungry, with a shyness Phở shaped arrow, towards my heart Feed me now Mouth open wide I eat away I should have had Phở and I’m hungry now It was on the menu but I passed it somehow I should have had Phở and I’m hungry now In a dream where I touched it, and began to chow down Viet-Dreaming, we’re together Tender noodles, work of art Eat in and outside, drip steamy water And a moist drop, in my palm And it’s a hard Summer day Dream night and day I wish I had Phở, I am hungry now The Viet that I wanted, now I I’m hungry without I wish I had Phở, I am hungry now My hearts where the Phở goes, its in the Phở bowl I should have had Phở and I’m hungry now It was on the menu but I passed it somehow I should have had Phở and I’m hungry now In a dream where I touched it, and began to chow down Yeah, I wish I had Phở, I am hungry now The Viet that I wanted, now I I’m hungry without I wish I had Phở, I am hungry now My hearts where the Phở goes, its in the Phở bowl Wish I had Phở, I am hungry now Wish I had Phở, I am hungry now

Always pass by this place after work but never had a chance to try it until today. Took my hubby and daughter here since it’s our first time. We were the first customer here since they just open the shop. The place is pretty big and clean, but the food was not that great. The strawberry shake didn’t really taste like strawberry shake at all. It has to much milk in it. All I taste was milk. The com tam beef doesn’t look or taste like com tam at all and the portion was too little. The best thing was that the plaza has other stores like. Dollar trees, subway, Starbucks, and a nail shop.

It’s been said before but I’ll say it again. One of the more solid spots for phở in the San Gabriel area. The broth packs a lot of flavor, not the style that caters to Americans(sweet) but more of the authentic taste you’d get from your best aunts cooking. The broth is more on the fatty instead of the clean side but that doesn’t shadow the fact that it’s better than most spots I’ve eaten around here. Definitely recommend the phở and rice dishes.

I like the ambiance of the place, very authentic Vietnamese, but the food just wasn’t very good, and it seemed overpriced. Long wait time. Won’t be coming back. Spend your money someplace else. Important: $ 10 minimum for credit/debit card transactions.

It was my second time trying phở for the second time in my life. I had it at another place and wasn’t that intrigued. I come in 10min before they close and Calvin gladly welcomed me and sat us down. We get phở and it was pretty good. For less than $ 8 you get a humongous bowl of phở with a good amount of meat. The noodles were very good and was not dissapointed. Calvin was very nice and friendly. I also asked him if they had vietnamese coffee and he gladly offered me a free sample to try which was very delicious. The fact that he was welcoming and took care of us that well makes me want to come back which I will. I gotta try the other stuff on the menu. Give this place a shot and see what you think? :)

Amazing service and amazing food! Who knew there was such a legit spot in baldwin park! The soup is soooooo bomb dot com and their meats are perfect. They are very generous win their portions and the plate of veggies you get with phở has so many jalapeños to make you cry tears of joy! Yum! I am definitely going back to try the rest of their menu. They also have free refills on sodas and never leave your cup empty because they are so attentive! The service is also exceptional and they really know how to take care of you and make you feel welcome! This is going to be the new happening phở spot in baldwin park! Don’t miss out! Mmmmmm… So derricious! Oh and they are right off the puente exit if you’re heading on 10e.
