Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt

My kids and i love coming to this place, they always have fresh fruit and great granola

Came here to kill a little bit of time before I had to work. This place is very spacious and there were actually a good amount of people eating inside. Whenever I come to a frozen yogurt place, I always get plain tart. No matter what new flavors they have, I don’t care, because I always get plain tart. I would say their plain tart isn’t as good as yogurtland, but it was still pretty good.
The only thing I don’t like about this place is their granola. It was NOOO BUENO! It tasted too healthy, I like the granola that is smothered with honey and has a sweet flavor to it. This one was super bland and it had sunflower seeds in it –_​– Mehhh.
Service was good, she was really friendly!

Location was clean but overall Menchie’s yogurt melts quicker than Yogurtland.
Also this location lacked a variety of fresh fruit. There is more candy and sugary toppings.

Came here last month gave the lady $ 20 my change was $ 5?!! I told her I gave you a $ 20 you owe me $ 10 she said no you gave me $ 10. Long story short horrible employees. Never coming to this place again

This Menchie’s is large and clean. Jessica was the cashier helping me out & she was super courteous and sweet. The prices are fair too. I will definitely be returning.

Very racist and profiling staff! Spoke to my wife in Spanish and then told us «don’t you know this is Baldwin Park?» Then rudely told us after we served our yogurt we were too early for the Friday special. Since we always go after dinner like at 8 PM we didn’t realize the time. So we waited. Then another couple came and the served their and the girl told them it was $ 17@ 6:45? So they waited. Then another Hispanic group came in and in her best voice she told them the special started in a few minutes and they should get a simple and wait??? Must be nice to one of the choose few uh? This is second time I have treat rude at this place. Nothing’s changed even talked to the apathetic manager. As a senior, vet, retired employee of BPUSD this place should avoided.

I love Menchie’s especially now that there’s one close to where I live imma be going there much more often. I love that I had a choice to sit outside our inside & it was really clean. The only thing I didn’t like is that the employees didn’t mention about the little try cups I had to go & get it myself. But at least as soon as I walked in they welcomed me but overall score was an A not so much an A+ just an A. Definitely gonna go back.

I was surprised that there was no line when I got here. How is that even possible? Oh well I’m not complaining.
There was a limit to how much you can get for free (6 oz). I got the original tart with mochi and gummy bears and it was over 6 oz so I had to pay the difference.
Original tart flavor was more on the creamy side than tart. It was more like soft serve, not a fan! I prefer Yogurtland’s tart flavor better.
Finding a parking space was not an issue as there were plenty of spaces in the back.

YOGURTLAND HAS A BETTER VIDE AND BETTER SET UP, 4 stars because the machines and toppings are too close. Overall good yogurt

Oh Yo Froyo heaven! I’m so glad they built Menchie’s up the street from my house. This place is not only delicious it’s fun! The colors are bright and the little Menchie’s guy and his crew are sooo cute, makes you feel like a kid again. They have at least 10 – 12 flavors. My fav.‘s are Watermelon (summer classic), Choclate banana, & Cheesecake! If your not to sure what flavors to get, well your in luck. They have sample cups, take one and try any that you’d like. Decisions, decisions, hmmmmm… When you decide, grab a Menchie’s cup, fill er’ up, than move on over to the «toppings» section. Yummm… I add strawberrys, blueberrys, Mochi, baby and butterfly gummybears, small bits of cheesecake, and sour patch kids. Oh yah, I’ll need to go for a jog for this one! Yikes. Time to bring my cup up to the cash register. The clerk weighs my cup and the charge a small amount per ounce. I check in on face book for 5% off my total and hand her my Menchies points card to receive credit for my purchase. So this time I have delicious yogurt, a discount, & points towards free yogurt in the future. If that’s not enough you can also purchase Menchie souvenirs, pre packed large froyo Togo, and also take a picture while eating froyo to add to the Menchies picture wall of fame! I usually take my yogurt togo but during summer nights I’ll enjoy patio dining with ISAAK right by the outdoor heat lamp. If you’d like there is plenty of indoor seating also. Kids can also enjoy the Menchie’s crafts they have for them to do while chillin’ out. Just ask a clerk. Don’t forget to get the kids the Menchie’s stickers, they have a few different characters available. Menchie’s is pet friendly, so if you need to leave your pet awaiting, there’s a bowl by the door. Chomp chomp! See-​ya!

It’s really good, everyone is nice and welcoming and it’s very clean of course it’s not pink berry but for something close by it does the job.

Great place friendly staff. I like how the flavors are different than yogurt land. Its nice for a place to have something like this since BP usually catered to the Hispanic people

I came here for the $ 5 friday deal. Its a great deal in which you can fill up your cup to the top and add as many toppings as you’d like. My favorite flavor is the dole pineapple flavor… sooo good! Then i added a lot of fresh fruit toppings. Hopefully they have this deal for a long time because it is a really good deal, so good that i am already looking forward to the next friday. They have great yogurt flavors (they have recently added the girl scout samoa flavor) and a lot of toppings to choose from. Crushed thin mints and samoas have also been added in the topping area. Overall, i am delighted that Baldwin Park now has a local froyo place:)

I was so happy when this one opens up near my house! I had recently moved to Baldwin park and where I used to live I had a menchies 2 blocks down in Baldwin park it was 15 – 20 drive D: THANK YOU for opening here lol. I have never been disappointed coming here with the froyo expect once they didn’t have plain tart but was only once lol. The toppings are fresh and yummy sometimes I’ve noticed the strawberries and blueberries don’t look appetizing and I just go home and add my own. There has been 2 times It was on the go and I really wanted strawberries & blueberries but didn’t look appetizing, I was worried I was going to get a snotty answer the first time I asked if they had any fresh ones or if they can exchange it and THEY DID ! The 2^nd time it was like maybe 5 – 7 min before closing time and already knew the fruit maybe won’t be so great or won’t be a lot since of the time I was going in on a weekday, I was worried again that they would say no and asked them for fresh strawberries since there was only the mushy kind left SHE DID IT! WITH A SMILE WITH NO PROBLEM AND HAD FULL ON CONVERSATION WITH ME. She was the sweetest! Keep up the good work! Menchies is the reason I feel in love with froyo in the first place!!! I personally this they have more taste than yogurtland.
COMPLIMENTARY WATER WOULD BE AWESOME! ** little advice** spring and summer is coming.

Quality was maybe average.
Price was expensive, rather go to yogurtland.
Location is pretty good.

A frozen yogurt place near my house!
I didn’t realize this place was here. It’s very similar to Yogurtland. I believe its 38 cent per ounce. They also have fresh waffle cones as well! There’s plenty of fresh and dry toppings. The employee was very nice and offered sample cups. I will definitely come back.
I wish they were more observant when it comes to toppings. I saw little kids grabbing the toppings and popping it into their mouths with their HANDS…

The yogurt here is great and the staff is awesome. I would highly recommend their fruit punch. It’s so good!
I would have given it a five star rating but it’s a bit pricey. Aside from that no complaints here.
