Great ambiance, love the décor, awesome service and tasty food. Very clean and friendly environment!

Had 3 different crunchy tacos. All very tasty. The carnitas and shredded beef were moist n tender. I liked the chicken taco best. I like dark meat which they used and it was cooked with onions and bell peppers. Yum! The only negative which isn’t that big of a deal is I was practically done with my tacos before my side of rice came. Overall if I’m ever out here, I’d eat here again

Exceptional crunchy tacos. The chicken and carnitas were really juicy. The rice was also tasty and authentic. Just wish the rice came out with the tacos.

One of my favorite places to have a great meal. I’ve never had a complaint about the food. I’m a big seafood fan and they make a really good shrimp or campechana cocktail. Great chips and salsa. The service is fast and courteous.

As usual, I can never go wrong with the wet burrito! Been coming here for the last 15 years, still great each time.

Had dinner with a friend and ordered the tostada de camaron. It didn’t taste like it had been marinated in lemon or lime and tasted plain. I asked for limes and they said the only had lemon, which was odd. Waitress was nice and michilada was good. Been to better Mexican restaurants before and didn’t really care for this one.

Came across this place by accident. What a great find. Great service, excellent food. I had Chile Rellanos which had just the right amount of cheese and sauce. Hubby had Chicken Fajitas he said the best he had, sister had enchiladas and had no problem finishing. Rice and beans were perfect. Will definitely come back next time I in the area.

Been coming here for years. Keeps getting better! Great owner. Amazing customer service. Place was recently renovated and completely upgraded inside and out. Big flat screen TVs all over. Wanna watch a game? Just ask the server or bartender and it’ll get done! Only recommendation to the owner, the water needs a better filter. But that’s so minor it’s still 5 stars!

Excellent food!!! Just passing through glad we stopped and opted over in n out!!! Salsa was great, and hot!

La fogata is a very strange place. The outside looks ugly but as soon as you walk in the place is completely the opposite. Inside is decorated very nicely. I had the menudo. It was delicious. I also order tacos de asada. The meat was grill perfectly. Also had tostadas de ceviche. They were good.
Service was quick.

My ex took me here, raving about the beans and rice. I was skeptical to say the least. Not only do I rarely crave Mexican food, I’m also not a huge fan of beans or rice. I was pleasantly surprised however. My ex ordered my the carnitas plate, and it was quite good! The chips and salsa that came complimentary was soooo good. I love spicy foods and just thinking about that salsa makes me salivate. The carnitas had a nice crunch to them and surprisingly, I found the beans to be quite decent as well. Although I didn’t clean my plate (the portions are hugeeee, imo), I did eat over half of the beans. It had a very good creamy, taste and flavor. Lunch pricing is a steal as well. Definitely will be coming back.

Have been coming here for awhile now. Chips and salsa are yum! But be careful! The salsa is very spicy (and I LOVE spicy). Food is ALWAYS great. Service is so-​so. They have gotten our orders wrong several times during different visits (and we go during times when it’s slow), but we have spared them the time and trouble of getting the correct order out. Even though the orders were wrong, the food was on point and delicious! Just wish they would bring out the correct orders and check in on us and our drink refills more often.
The food is too good though, so that’s what keeps us coming back!

UPDATE: The quality of service has been really good the past several times I have eaten since the last review. Quality of the food is still amazing! Thanks for making me and my tummy happy :)

First time I came everything was great shrimp michelada so good 7 mares soup delicious second time around water down michelada soup tasted like freezer milanesa plate was ok but that beans gross from a can and the waitresses are not attentive at all!

I love, love, love this place. They have the best Micheladas, and camarones al mojo de ajo. Yes the service is slow, and I have been served slightly cold food before, their table salsa is too spicy to enjoy, and the tortillas do come a while after you receive your food, but you know what? I don’t care. My husband will tell me lets go out for dinner and this will always be my choice. Their Micheladas are to die for and they just added a new one to their menu. The drinks are a little pricey but well worth it.

This place was highly recommended and it «did» disappoint…
First they took our order wrong, while trying to explain that they wrote it down wrong the girl tried to push it off on us… Sorry sweetie but no. My Michelada only tasted like worshertershirshireseriar sauce, just horrible. The torta de milanesa was just okay, nothing special. The tostada de carne was more of a salad with blah taste. The chips and salsa were good though!

I have to say. This place was much better before. They even charge you extra for more chips and salsa. Ridiculous! !!!

This place is a solid lunch option.
I came with my parents for lunch on a sunday afternoon.
Service was fine, the server wasn’t overly friendly and gave us our space.
Food: the beans and rice deserve a solid 4 stars. They were good.
I had the beef enchiladas and i thought they were really good.
My mom had the huevos rancheros and thought that they were just okay.
My dad had the combo plate with the cheese enchilada and chile relleno and said it was good, but nothing stood out.
It wouldn’t be our first choice for lunch, but we wouldn’t mind coming back.

I love this place. My mom has been a faiths customer here since they opened and that’s how I found it. They changed the décor and it looks elegant. However I was the biggest fan of their previous décor and especially the butterflies.
The staff is very nice all the time. I’m a difficult customer and they are always very nice to me. I’m difficult because I’m allergic to almost everything. Most places do not accommodate to my needs, here they always have!
The food is absolutely delicious my whole family loves it. My kids definitely have this as one of their top three choices when we go out to eat.
The owner is a very nice sweet man that remembers regulars and their family members. He promised me butterflies and saved them for me till he saw me! Who does that! This guy does because he’s amazing!
I appreciate this business and all the effort that goes into it by the staff and owner!

This is a frequent lunch spot for me. The lunch specials are a deal here and they include a free iced tea. Service is always very nice. They have a fully stocked bar. Chips and salsa are complimentary. *The salsa is very spicy. Favorite plates here are the fajitas and the carnitas burrito.
Good spot for mexican

I work fairly close to here so came for lunch and got the lunch special chicken fajitas, with beans and rice. I just ate the chicken like that since I was trying to be healthy. Pretty good and tender, beans were good and so was the rice, plus you get a free iced tea.
Pay up at the front. This place is awesome, i’ll be back to try more!
