I have been going to George to get my hair cut when he used to cut hair at the old Crawfords market in El Monte about 20 years ago when I was a kid. I have followed him here now at baldwin park as an adult. This is what you call a barber shop.
All Male Barbers. They usually have some sports or Spanish shows on the TV or have some music playing through the place.
No appointments first come first serve. It can get pretty busy on the weekends.
Prices are great for the quality of work.
$ 9 for a normal cut and I believe kids are $ 8
They have a resident Artist/​Barber that paints portraits and landscapes by hand. If you are lucky you can see him progress in his down time. You can also buy all his work which they have hanging in the barbershop for all to see and buy.
Highly recommended barbershop.
