I like this place because it’s fast Chinese food. There are a whole lot of better places but this one is convenient, not the best but convenient. Food is good. I have been coming here for years so I know what to expect.

The sesame chicken was questionable– I wondered if there was actually any chicken in the small nuggets. Also the sweet and sour shrimp was overly breaded. I had to remove the thick layer of coating in order to actually taste the shrimp. Sure, it’s fast food and you shouldn’t have high expectations, but I wasn’t excited about this meal.

Sesame chicken barely had any chicken in it. Sweet and sour shrimp had more breading than shrimp. This was a decent meal because I was hungry but other than that, it’s more of your average fast food Chinese restaurant.

Been coming here sense 2006. This is the Quint essential hole on the wall Chinese food. I get the shrimp lo mein and it is very satisfying. The portions are huge here. You always have leftovers. I am not a fan of there egg rolls. This place looks horrible from the curve but I have gotten to know the owners and there very nice. You won’t get great customer service or penash here it is Balch Springs after all but I make a 5 mile trek to eat here.

I am a huge fan of hole in the wall Chinese restaurants, but this place was awful! The sesame chicken was a joke — overly greasy chewy fried chicken nuggets with some sort of sauce over them and a handful of sesame seeds. Upon arriving home I noticed they forgot the rice. The chicken was not edible. To top it off the fortune cookie had no fortune inside!

For good american chinese take out, this is a great little spot. Warning, the portions are huge! Trust me, unless you’re super hungry or intend to share with someone… do NOT order the dinner portion! I tend to stick with the general’s chicken or sweet and sour. Sometimes I order one and since the sauce is served separately I just order a side of the other sauce and end up dipping in both. This is a little family owned business and I’m really glad they are here. Very friendly and take pride in their food and apparently refuse to charge more when I know they obviously could(and probably should).

Lol I just like this place for the entertainment. Once you pull up to the speaker box it’s like a scene out of «Dude, Where’s my car?»…just replace«ANDDEN» with«OKAY». It’s always a fast chopped off«OKAY», kind of like«OKA» minus the Y. I get a good laugh with a cheap meal!

Even though it’s only drive-thru and to-go, I love coming to this place.(used to be a Burger Street) The food is good, the service is excellent. I’ve been to a number of Asian restaurants where the service is lacking, but these people are really nice. Family owned restaurant. I love getting the chicken lo mein(large serving, enough for 2), chicken broccoli, and chicken sticks(a little too greasy for my taste, but good nonetheless). Haven’t tried their egg rolls(ordered separately), but their soups are good too.
