High Performance Tennis Academy

HPTA offers all levels of instructions. It has offered my son excellent high level instruction from coaches who have played on the curcuit and know how to prepare players for USTA matches, college and beyond. We are lucky to have a place like this in the area.

High Performance Tennis Academy (HPTA) runs a very professional tennis program for players of all levels and ages. Over the past two and a half years I have participated in a variety of group clinics, team practices, private lessons, and leagues. HPTA’s coaching staff, lead by director Charles Wheeler, is enthusiastic, professional, and friendly. They are always pushing me past my perceived limits and motivating me to reach my highest potential. Participating in group clinics and team practices has not only improved my strokes, but has taught me how to incorporate the technical and strategic elements of the game into my match play.
My eight-​year-​old twins have also enjoyed learning tennis at HPTA. Starting in the Quick-​start program they learned the basics of the game using a mini net and foam tennis balls. Their instructors were able to strike the right balance between learning and fun. As my children have gotten older and gained more confidence on the court, they have joined junior group clinics, participated in summer camp programs and taken private lessons.
Some things that set HPTA apart from other area tennis programs include their small player to coach ratio, which allows for plenty of personalized attention, their dedicated coaching staff, and a fantastic facility that includes eight indoor courts. I would highly recommend HPTA to anyone looking to improve their tennis game. My family has been extremely satisfied with all of the services that HPTA has provided and fully intends to continue our involvement with HPTA in the future.
