This place sucks. I have been to many places all over the world. These bathrooms are the dirtiest nastiest disgusting I have seen.

You can get faster service at Denny’s. The wait time is at least 15 minutes even when they aren’t busy.

I absolutely love sonic. I came here when I was just a little kid to get the shakes. I remember first time I tried them was in Kansas, Garden City.
I fell in love with this place. Back then I remember they use to come to your car with skates, but I have come this this one twice and I haven’t seen them do that.
I love the style of this fast food place. It is very different than any other fast food restaurant I am use too. They have a drive-​thru and drive-​in.
The drive thru is like any other drive-​thru where you just drive up and order your food. The drive-​in is a little different. You find a parking space and drive-​in.
There are menus on both sides of the windows. One of the them is a food menu and the other is a shake menu. They have so many shakes to choose from.
You can even custom make one if you like. They make your shake anyway you want it. Just ask for it and they make it. FYI: They have happy hour after 8!
I drove in to one of the spots and saw the menu. There was so much to choose from. Everything looked so good and mouth watering.
I tried the Super Sonic double bacon cheeseburger with tater tots. When they asked me if I wanted fries or tater tots I knew I had to try the tater tots. They were bomb!!! My husband also really enjoyed the bite of my burger he stole.
He chose the chili cheese hot dog and baja jalapeño hot dog. He gave me a bite of each and I thought they were so good. The food was amazing.
We went on a busy night and there were a lot of cars. When I pressed the button it took them about 5 minutes to respond. I though it was broken, but when he finally responded he apologized for the wait.
He took our order and was very nice over the speaker. We paid with a card and you just slide it under the menu and you are all done.
The food was ready in about 15 minutes. Last time I came it was faster but like I said it was a busy night. The food was hot and it was so good.
I will be coming back every chance I get. The lady that took our food was very nice as well. Great customer service and great food. What else can you ask for?

This is the closest Sonic from my house and my daughter’s school so when we feel like getting slushies, route 44 flavored drinks or midnight ice cream cravings, this is our go-​to place.
They serve half prices on some items when it’s off peak hours and I always get sucked into it. :)
This place is always with a customer specially during school hours specially students because it’s close to a Stiern middle school.
Servers are always nice and smiling. Never had an issue with this place so I’m definitely coming back… for more!

So this sonic location is a little out of the way for most folks, but well known to the east siders. It is the same menu as the other places but has a more neighborhood feel. Even when the lines are a little long for drive through, they move it faster than Rosedale or 24^th Street Sonics.
The food is tasty and the drinks sublime.
Cleanliness… not so much. Like all other Sonics, it seems the cleanliness inside the store is not a priority. I think this might be a regional or corporate problem. The staff are neat and clean, they are super nice every time I go there, but no one is cleaning the place. I have stopped ordering food here and just get slushies and other drinks. I want the food, but with the place so dirty inside I’m afraid to order the food. Sorry Sonic, but you need to clean it up.
I want the food. I miss the food. If only I felt I could TRUST the food! It makes me sad because I love supporting businesses in my neighborhood. That Coney Dog looks like heaven on a bun but I fear the three day runs. Sorry folks if I got gross, but eww. Seriously. Eww.
I hope someone from Sonic reads this because I don’t think you realize customers can see inside your store and it is a dirty nasty mess. Not just this location either. It is all of the ones here in Bakersfield. Please clean it up so your loyals can start trusting the food and ordering it.
I’ll keep coming back and getting my drinks. When you clean it up inside, my Sonic peeps, I’ll start with buying one of those Coney Dogs.

Milkshakes are great! They are half price after 8pm. Peanut butter fudge is my particular favorite, but they serve lots of different flavors. The staff was very friendly.

I have to give this sonic a good review because we go their at least once a week. They have the dollar drink special before 10, the happy hour drinks from 2 – 4 and the ½ priced shakes after 8. The children’s play area is usually very clean and often unoccupied. We don’t always eat here but when we do get tots onion ring or a burger, we are never disappointed. Sometimes u have the immature kids from the middle school hanging out but otherwise it’s not usually too bad.

Sonic is great! They always make the best food and drinks! Try the vanilla Dr. Pepper or Cherry Limeade! Chili cheese tots are also great!

I had a strawberry banana shake and it was yummy until I ducked up a dead fly. .it was GROSS ! Than when I walked into the place to get my money back the place stunk like crap. I mean poop ! And there was trash all over the floor. poor young kids that work there. They need to hire a new manager.
The one there isn’t doing her job. letting those kids work in filth !!

Love the different food options. Don’t feel like I have to go to the county fair to get a corn dog.

My kids liked this place but the grease soaked onion rings just made me think that this is heart attack waiting to happen. I give it three stars because I loved the personalized drive up service for each individual car and as I said, the kids liked it.

I think not having a sonics by me and always seeing commercials on tv got me too excited about trying it and when I did it wasn’t what I expected it to be. The burgers are nice and big and the tots are like any tots. Food does fill you up and there is a large choice of drinks. Would I ever drive far enough for a sonics? No

I’m not sure why Sonic even advertises where I live, because there isn’t one for miles around. So those deliscious drinks and desserts are just a tease.
So I finally got Sonic here close to my work. Just about every lime aid is so good! My favorite is strawberry and cherry.
You have to go during happy hour for the best prices (I think it’s like 3 – 6?).
The food is just ok. I’ve only had a couple shakes, but those were good too!
