If I could give 0 stars I would 30 $ just for them to deliver it one mile away? What a joke. First the lady had no idea how to take a address and then insulted by saying your total is 24 $ you need to order and appetizer… No thanks.

Bomb as f***… We were just in town for the night and needed a pizza delivered to our hotel. Pizza came quick and was amazing!

If I could give them zero stars, I would. There was an appalling smell as soon as we walked inside. Their buffet was absolutely terrible. I felt like they were serving me their leftovers from 3 days ago. The pizza was rubbery, the wedges were cold, and the desert bar was just sad. I will never go back for the buffet and don’t recommend it to anyone.

Service could be a little better, I feel like sometimes the staff take a little too long to check on you. But other than that the food is great. Haven’t had a bad thing on the menu. My favorite is the Pastrami pizza.

We always order a special that they have pizza, chicken and wedges and the cheesy garlic bread is amazing.

My sister in law recommended this to us and we love it.
They also deliver (to my sister in laws) for free which is cool because who wants to run for pizza on a Friday night?!
We definitely recommend this place and we will keep coming!

My son got a kids pepperoni pizza and my BF and I got the combination pizza. It was quite delicious. We ordered appetizers. Wings and wedges, both were quite flavorful. Over food was delicious. Didn’t give them a 5 star because the service was almost non-​existent. At one point I had to get out f my seat to ask for something. But will be back for the food.

Just AMAZING! From the Bruschetta, to the pizza and the service! It’s totally worth! I wish it wasn’t far from San Diego, i’d eat regularly!

I bought their $ 20 for $ 15 deal hoping to use it for their buffet, but I guess they don’t accept that offer during their lunch buffet; I did not know that their lunch buffet was considered a «special» or «deal»; I thought it was normal price. I was quite disappointed but I went ahead and paid another $ 20 for the buffet.
There was not many variety of pizzas offered. and if you didn’t catch the pizza at the right time. it’s leftover pizza that turned rubbery. Their salad bar looked sad and their desserts looked even sadder. I had two slices of their pizza and decided it was not worth it. so I turned to their wings. I caught those at the right time and they were hot, spicy, and delicious. I also had a scoop of their lasagna. it was more pasta than sauce/​meat/​cheese combined. I guess I’ll be spending the previous $ 15 deal for wings next time.

This place is convenient since I live right down the street from it. I have dined in and order out many times and this place never disappoint. They have many variety from open salad bar, pizzas, pastas to fry chicken and wedges. Definitely recommend this place.

We had the Bruschetta and two Calzone delivered. Don’t worry we didn’t eat it all — it will be two meals. The food is fantastic! The tastes are complex and yet not overbearing. Little Italy will become our go-​to place for takeout.

The food was okay. The service is in need of improvement. Longer wait time to get our order. Pizza is sub par.

Hubby Ordered chicken & wedges alongside the kiddos mac & cheese for pickup. When he opened macaroni and cheese he was overwhelmed by an unpleasant sour aroma. I being the cheeseaholic of the family, He asked me to taste the mac and it was a very different consistency and before I could chew the bite, the sour flavor of spoiled /​cream or milk overwhelmed my tastebuds. Ugh! We called the restaurant and spoke to Jacque, whom relayed to the manager, we will have a credit for the cost of the dish ($ 5.00) under our phone number when we order again.
The chicken and potatoe wedges were delicious, however the cook on the chicken was harder than normal.
We sure hope going forward, Slice of Italy and their friendly staff remains dedicated to the higher quality ingredients, and service we have come to expect and love over the past year.

I’m bummed out. I got another pizza tonight, the same as always. I picked it up straight from the oven and took it home, 3 blocks away. It was a bummer, the crust was thick and the pizza wasn’t hot. Tasted like frozen and reheated. The manager said it was not. I told her I would try it one more time. I don’t know if they have a new cook or what, but the crust tasted more like a frozen DiGiorno, and that’s not good. Parts of it were cold and the rest was barely warm. I ordered it with garlic sauces and couldn’t taste it. :(
As I was pulling into my driveway I was thinking I need to try Joseph’s for pizza. Now I’m sure I do.

If you have not tried this pizza then this is a must try. I really like this pizza. unfortunately its not that cheesy pizza that you have to pinch or almost choke on the cheese but it is very good. everyone has their own opinion on what great pizza should be. This IS on my top list. try it for yourself. oh and the employees are very helpful.

They would have received five stars, because the food is great, but the service was not good.
It was my first time there. I was with one other person. We ordered an appetizer and then two entrees. After about 20 minutes they came out with the entrees. The wait for 20 minutes was incredible since there was literally no one in there, so unsure what took so long. We also didn’t receive our appetizer at all. Not only that, but we didn’t have silverware.
I went up and asked to talk to the manager. I voiced my complaints with the poor service and said it was my first time there, so this doesn’t leave a good impression. She agreed to remove the appetizer from our check (obviously, since we weren’t going to pay for it). Later she discounted our bill. I didn’t ask or expect that, but it was nice.
We decided to order dessert, but this time the person with me received their dessert, then I received mine when he finished his. Again, the service was poor.
I’ll be trying the other location and hope for better service. I would hate to see what it’s like when they are busy!

Normally we just have pizza. Today we decided to have spaghetti and meatballs and ravioli florentine. Both were delicious. The spaghetti with meatballs has green pepper and onion in the sauce. Very flavorful.
I think their pizza is the best if not close to the best in town.

Okay, so I finally tried this location tonight after using the rosedale location pretty frequently. I honestly just come here when I want a white sauce pizza. I got a creamy garlic chicken pizza, like I normally do in rosedale. I went in for carry out without ordering early. The place is obviously decorated by someone who had no clear vision, which reminds me of the rosedale one. Tacky paint, nice booths and lighting, weird salad bar set up, TVs everywhere in weird places, and awkward cash wrap.
The bathroom was super clean!!! Anyways, back to the point. The pizza tasted just like the rosedale location and was absolutely delicious. My only issue is with the broccoli. What is with the broccoli? I love that vegetable, but on that pizza it was a crappy choice. I should have asked for it to be left off, but I wanted to give it a shot. It seemed burnt and smelled terrible. Once I picked off the broccoli, it was amazing!!! Also, the employees were very kind. A waitress even asked me if I was doing OK while I waited for my pizza to cook. I will be back for sure.

Cannoli-​I didn’t like it, it was free with the check-​in, $ 5 without, I’d never get it again even if it is free, it’s not my type of flavor (cinnamon deep fried Taco Bell type of shell, cream was really thick), although I do like cannolis I just didn’t like theirs, the part I did like on it was the nuts… ahaaaaa, yes! *wink lol
Hero Sandwich-​It wasn’t that heroic, sorry not sorry, it was more of a lettuce sandwich to me, and I didn’t know it was gonna come with a bag of chips, I know we eat sandwich and chips all the time but it just didn’t seem like it fit there to me
The soda machine looked gross with all those cups all over it, good thing I never order soda or ice, the salad bar is the kind that we use to go to back in the days
After all that I’ve said, would I go back? Yes! I still like the pizza, I just really wouldn’t want anything else, I just hope that the next time the service would be faster and more reasonable, it just didn’t make any sense to be as slow as it was.

Slice of Italy is located in the down town area on F st. Street parking only. Can get pretty crowded for lunch.
The place is big and roomy, lots of big screen TVs and plenty of booths and tables. We came in for lunch. I checked in and got a Unilocal coupon for a free cannoli valued at $ 5. We chose to order dine in but they also offer a buffet that looked pretty good. Buffets just aren’t really my thing.
We ordered an appetizer of wedges which were very fresh and hot. You could tell they had just made them for us. I like that. Hate wedges that have been sitting in some warmer for hours. 5 stars for the wedges.
We also ordered a small pizza which for a small was really big! The pizza was delicious and very modestly priced. The lasagna with meatballs was out of this world good. Very delicious. Then we had a cannoli which was yummy too.
The service was really good especially since it was so crowded with the lunch crowd. Got refills, extra napkins brought out just a nice experience.
I will come back with some coupons that I received in the mail. Good specials for carry out pizza.
