My boyfriend locked himself out of his apartment, so we tried calling a couple of locksmiths to help us out. One company tried to charge is $ 95-$ 110! Premier lock was only going to charge $ 50, which isn’t too bad being that I’ve paid $ 40-$ 50 for locking my keys in my car twice. My boyfriend was lucky enough that his landlord happened to show up just in time to open the door for him. I called premier lock back, and they were very understanding and nice(even though we no longer needed assistance). Thank you premier lock for your professionalism and customer service :)

Quick, efficient, friendly & professional. Out daughters keys were stolen. They rekeyed the house in 30 minutes. Were on time(early by 5 mins actually) and professional. I appreciated when I called the business they answered with a business name– not«yep» on some guys cell phone. The quote was spot on although he probably should have charged me more considering he ended up having to do 2 different keys. Alfred and his assistant have our business now. Very happy and will recommend them 100%.

After only 10 years in Bakersfield, our rentals have grown to such a point where I can no longer get into town for maintenance, lock outs or evictions so I’ve whittled down my service providers to just a few. Thank God we found Alfred at Premier Lock after a recommendation from another Landlord. We first had to use him during a Sheriff’s eviction and he showed up early to plan the strategy with us. 8 re-keys later, the bill was only $ 120.00, well below what we used to pay. With a $ 60.00 service fee, that equates to $ 7.50/re-key. The locks were returned in great shape and in good order, something a Landlord really appreciates! Even though we hate turnover and especially evictions, at least we’ve got a go-to guy here in town. Punctual and below average prices. Darn right we keep using him!

I needed the locks changed on five doors at my house and was quoted $ 60 over the phone. The locksmith arrived on time which was nice. However the first thing he said when I showed him which locks were to be changed was«Whoa, these are expensive locks.» Of course I could sense the cost coming up instantly. Anyways, shortly after he removed the locks he got to work. It took a little over an hour for him to complete the job. My final bill was $ 120. Double my estimate! Shortly after he left I checked all the locks to make sure they were working properly with the keys provided. Everything worked fine but we noticed he chipped some of the paint off of one of our side doors around the knob. Probably happened when he removed the knob. This is understandable as I would think it would likely chip if the door was painted with the knob on. However he didn’t mention it, which kind of irked me a bit. I wouldn’t use Premier Lock again if I needed a locksmith.
