Kern Schools Federal Credit Union

This has been my go to location ever since they closed the other branch on Ming.
This building went from being a regular branch to just a loan specific location and back to being a regular branch. This is the location where I opened up my first bank account when I was in high school and also recently applying for a car loan. What I love about this branch is that every time I come in they help me in a timely manner. The tellers are always personable and I like that.
The only thing I don’t like is that they are closed on Saturdays. Other than that, this is a great location!

The drive thru teller is awesome! Who doesn’t LOVE IT when someone remembers your name?! Always a one-​car wait if any at all… so ya I travel a little ways for this bank (;

This location is a bank/​mortgage branch. The woman that helped us was very pleasant and helped us jump through the hoops needed for our soon to be housing purchase. I will hopefully revisit this location when is comes to signing those much needed documents to buy the house we have always wanted.

This location is actually not a regular bank office and the sign states that there is no cash on the premises. Instead it is a Home Loan & Investment Center.
I do not patronize the Home Loan part of the business, but I do frequently patronize the ATM machines on the front wall of the bank. There are two walk up ATMs on the front of the building. They are always well lit at night, but what I really like about this location is that there is a tinted glass wall with a tinted glass roof area that shades the ATM from the glare of the Bakersfield summer sun and provides protection from the rain while still allowing you to be visible out both sides of the enclosure so that I always feel safe here, even when I visit this location alone.
Four stars for sure.
