Ken’s Optical

Not one bad thing to say about this place. Picked out my frames (Oakley’s) and they didn’t tell me it would be a couple weeks and that they had to send them out to be made. The guy looked at me and said, «They will be ready this Wednesday to pick up.»
Then on top of that they actually called me ON WEDNESDAY around noon and, «Your glasses are ready for pick up.»
From the moment I walked in till the day I picked up my glasses they were friendly (like I’ve been a customer for years) and welcoming.
I have never been to such a friendly optical office!
Now to mention how they went above and beyond… When I went in to pick up my glasses they had a larger size frame for me to check out (same style) because they thought I would find them more comfortable… and they were RIGHT. They could have just sold me the ones I picked out and filled them with the lenses but they went above and beyond!

Needing a new pair of glasses with a non-​allergenic titanium frame with specific dimensions, no one could find a frame that would do. No one except for the people at Ken’s Optical.
These people truly care about their customers, taking all the time necessary to provide a product and service that is better than anything you could imagine, especially if, as in my case, your requirements are difficult. It took them time and a great deal of research to find the frame that I needed — and they came through!
As a lawyer who is known for handling consumer matters, our office has had many complaints about some «El Cheapo» optical companies who engage in bait and switch selling practices and provide inferior products to their customers.
I am typing this recommendation wearing the best pair of glasses that I’ve ever owned, and have a great big THANK YOU for Ken’s Optical.

I got to Kens optical today. When I got there, he had already closed up. I asked if I could leave my glasses because they needed to be fixed. He said, I’ll fix them for you right now! So he took my glasses, opened the store door and went in to fix them. A few minutes later he brought them back out all fixed. I said, how much? He said «free». I’m glad I purchased these glasses from there. Not only are they the best biker prescription sunglasses, he has the best customer service! Ken and his staff were very knowledgeable and helpful in choosing the right frame for my son. They always give outstanding customer service. They work well with children too. My son’s glasses came in very fast, even over a holiday workweek.
