Let me just start out by saying, «I’ve never been grossed out to the point where I couldn’t eat.» Gross stories while eating never bothered me. Rude noises? Nada. But first, let me switch gears. The prices for this place are great. Sushi, noodles, fried rice and a side for about $ 13. My kids decided they were hungry after we left, so I’m glad I bought so much food. Well, initially. I was torn between the Mongolian beef and the beef and broccoli. I decided to be bold and try something different. I wish I had not. After my kids ate up all my noodles, I finally got to eat. I started with the sushi, and as I ate, I keep coming across a strangely familiar smell… urine. I’m in a hotel, and I smell the food, the chair I’m sitting on, the food, the floor under me, and back to the food. The smell is definitely coming from the Mongolian beef. I try to be rational. Maybe it’s something in the beef that’s giving it that smell. But after I finish the sushi, I am so suspicious about the beef. I try some bamboo. It’s OK. I try some beef. It’s not horrible, but by now I just can’t get over the smell. My wife had a bite, and she’s not a fan of the taste. Despite being pregnant, and the super smell powers it gives her, she hasn’t noticed it. But says she will gag if she eats anymore. In closing, I like the sushi, but that’s it. Otherwise this would be my first 1 star review… :(

Forget other fast food Chinese. Here is more variety, substitutions welcomed and lower price cooked to order! Smart Pandas eat here! ;) They have 1, 2 and 3 entry plates over rice or noodles cooked while you wait a few minutes. Mu Shu rolls and Rangoon, etc. They made my snow peas and shrimp spicy on special order for the same price. They also make ‘sushi’ rolls but I didn’t look at them tonight. They looked good though! A few simple tables but I took it to motel and where I had white wine in the fridge. :)

So good. Everything is fresh and made to order. The owner is kind and ensures that you will enjoy your food. The menu is very reasonably priced and it has tons of variety, from some sushi rolls, to salads, to soups. I will definitely be returning.

Fusion Teriyaki Bowl is the best! Absolutely the best fried rice in Bakersfield. The food’s quality was noticeable and tasted amazing! Thank God! Too many restaurants use cheap meats and veggies and just leaves you disappointed. Not Fusion Teriyaki. I wish I didn’t get full so I could eat more. I got the food and it was fresh and hot. The chicken was not fatty and the beef was rich and flavorful. Definitely my favorite Chinese food in Bakersfield. Thanks Fusion Teriyaki Bowl!!!

Love this place. Hubby & I were going to eat at that famous sandwich shop two doors down, but on a whim we decided to try another Chinese restaurant. WOW, a wonderful reception with the owner he’s very friendly, likable and accommodating. Questions were answered and orders were placed. Everything was cooked to order, fresh & tastee. I had the 2 item combo of sweet & sour pork, orange chicken it came with a mound of fried rice and noodles… Hubby had the same setup with a spicy scrimp dish. This is now our favorite Chinese restaurant in The World! Thank you for renewing our faith in Chinese cuisine, we’ll be back.

Fusion Teriyaki Bowl is by far the best Chinese food in the area. Quality food for affordable prices. The dining area was very spacious and roomy. I usually get take out but I wouldn’t mind eating there. Overall I would recommend this Chinese food and sushi joint to anyone in this area or close to it. 5STARS

Sushi in Oildale!!! You bet ;) The restaurant has recently been taken over by the previous owners nephew who has added a few modern editions to the restaurant. Best part, they have affordable quality sushi! Definitely keep an eye on this place its only going to get better and better with the owners fresh young perspective and ambitious attitude. Bakersfield is in the brink of becoming a hotspot and little joints like this are going to blow up!

We’re regulars and love almost everything on the menu(almost as we haven’t gotten through the entire menu just yet). I love the egg rolls, mushroom chicken and the chow mein is scrumptious. Definitely worth checking out.

The food here is great and decently priced. I had the chicken teriyaki plate and my husband had the steak teriyaki plate. Both plates were surprisingly good and the people who work here are really nice and professional. I would definitely recommend this place!

I was in town visiting family and had an urge for asian food(bc I’m asian… duh) and I decided to check this place out bc I saw a sign that said new management. I ended up ordering the kung pao chicken and my brother ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box. We were pleasantly surprised being that our barometer of chinese food is based on NYC chinatown. The bento box came out really quick and the kung pao had a really nice kick to it just how i like it. Overall we left very full and satisfied and would come back for quick go to lunch or dinner.

I work close by so I usually stop here and grab lunch. The food is pretty decent for a fast food Asian restaurant in Bakersfield. I usually order sushi and the fish they use is pretty fresh. They cook their food fresh when you order. I Don’t expect anything fancy here like those expensive restaurants. I like that it is quick and the food in decent. I dont mean to criticize anybody but i have to say the female cashier is a lot friendlier and helpful compared to the male asian cashier there. He seems like he hates his job a lot :/

Their portion sizes were great however the food was okay. As for the restaurant, the service was slow and the cleanliness was very poor. I would recommend this place if you have time and planing to get takeout.

This place has good food let me start off by saying that as long as you come during the early evening everything is really fresh. I would have to agree with a few other people the wait is very long so be prepared to spend some time here. I was the only customer tonight and ordered a Sushi Roll and two dinner Items the total was over $ 30 a bit steep for what they are serving up here but every once in a while it’s worth it. Once they have a friendly front staff I think business will increase and please when it’s over $ 25 I don’t believe you should charge for Siracha or soy sauce. Chen Yeng is more bang for your buck with a small personal chef touch. I think I will be going back to my favorite spot for the wait, way more pleasant atmosphere.

Great food and great friendly service but the wait time could be shorter. Love the daily specials but only if they would have the daily special prepared so maybe that would cut some of the wait time down.

If the food was a tab better this would be a solid 3 star review. The gal at the counter was sweet and offered suggestions so service for me was a non-issue on this date and I am sure she has nothing to do with cooking the food. The place is divey which is fine as so much good food comes from dives but the place was empty. Hmm. In a huge, busy plaza. The special of the day was orange chicken and there was none available. All that was available to go was rice that looked as though it has been sitting too long, chow mein and teriyaki chicken. So, I got the chicken with the chow mein which was overcooked but had tasty flavor. I skipped the accompanying optional veg which is normally my fave part but the broccoli and carrots looked very sad sitting in their water. The broccoli was actually too yellow looking for my liking, not green enough. Over steamed? I liked the charbroiled taste of the chicken and the portion was quite decent. You buy a bowl but it is actually just a while styrofoam portion plate with lid, lol. I dunno, I will not be rushing back here but was happy for the opportunity to try it.

I had a teriyaki steak here and it was really good, there was not the long wait others Unilocal about, the staff who works here do not give off a welcoming vibe. The food is fairly cheap, I guess it is OK, I may try again, as I am in the area a lot. If you like cheerful welcoming service, you may not enjoy.

This place has become our usual go-to take out Chinese place. The food is incredible– so far the only thing I’ve ordered that hasn’t exceeded expectations was the garlic chicken. I definitely recommend the teriyaki steak– I ordered it and everyone in my group agreed that they wished they had ordered it. The only reason I don’t give it five stars is the excessive wait for the food. It’s definitely fresh, but if you’re in a hurry, this isn’t the place for you.

There isn’t much choice for Chinese food in Bakersfield. I figured I would try this place dye to good reviews. Well people of bakersfield, you let me down. First it took 25 minutes to get my food. The didn’t have orange chicken and said it would take 30 minutes. If I knew the rest of my meal would take 25 minutes, I would have just waited. It seems like they forgot my order. That being said I read about the slow times so I figured I would endure it for the quality I read about. Well the quality was worse. The mandarin beef tasted like cat if I knew what cat tasted like. It had an old taste that made me question each bite. The sweet and sour pork was ok but not great. The fried rice was different. I’ve never ate fried rice with burnt egg. It gave it an early taste. I don’t think I liked their take on it as much either. That being said, I’ll drive three more miles to a panda express until I find somewhere better. Plus this place is super filthy.

I didn’t eat here, but my sister did. As she’s not a Unilocal user, she asked me to write this review for her. She said this is her favorite place to go in the area for a Teriyaki bowl, and that they make them fresh to order and they’re generous for the price. I saw her order and it was $ 6, easily $ 10 – 12 worth of food from Panda Express and she told me she liked them a lot better. She said the service is always great and it’s worth five stars. Again, I haven’t eaten here. I’m going on her word, but she was very enthusiastic about it.
