Getting in and out of here is a pain. Gas is cheap, beer selection limited and $$, staff is friendly, but I only get gas here if I’m not in a rush, or if its empty.

The Staff here are super friendly and they’re always laughing about something… maybe its the customers (I don’t know) but It seems to reverberate around the attitudes of the other customers because they always seem to be a good mood as well.

I never heard of Fastrip Food Store. There are 7 in Bakersfield, maybe hundreds in total.
What can I say? It is a convenience store attached to a gas station. Or is it the other way around?
Actually I stopped here on May 22, 2008 to get some gas. 6.22 gallons, with regular, totalled $ 25.25. The gas was selling for $ 4.059/per gallon of regular.
Wow! May 22nd 2008, that was the good old days wasn’t it?
When gas was 50 cents cheaper a gallon than it is today?
It’s less than 1 month later. That really was the good old days.
