Every time I go there I never want to leave. From the first time I went there I have always felt so welcomed. They have some very amazing and unique things. Stan and Bruce are super friendly and always there to help if you have questions.

This place is pretty bad ass and the best way to describe it is with the name of the place. The owner was really nice and personable, really good prices, I loved the music, vibe and smell of the place. We will definetly go back to try and get a reading. This is my new place in Bakersfield to get incense and gemstones.

Beautiful little shop. Lots of great things for a variety of interests. Wonderful selection of stones and crystals. Books. Incense. It smells like magic in there!

The best. Better than it’s ever been in years. New owners are personable, caring, informative, compassionate, friendly, and are the best thing to hit this town in years. They support each persons path. How cool is that? Judgement? You won’t find any there. Smells heavenly. Great vibe. Great inventory. Great patio to relax. The only place I will ever go. Any other place who tries to compete will fail miserably. Just this dude’s opinion as well as all my buddies, our ladies and friends.

I’m ashamed to say I hadn’t visited EC in years. I finally made it in yesterday and I’m so glad I did. The shoppe has wonderful energy, and everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. I will not let another long period of time go by before I return. Thank you Enchanted Cottage! !

This is truly a blessed store. It pays Respects to every belief system «as no ones beliefs are wrong and everyone is honored here.» The Owners Bruce and Stan are 2 of the kindest and most loving friends /​brothers I am blessed to have in this lifetime. And if you come in they’ll soon be yours too. There are many classes offered here from Tarot Card reading to Belly Dancing, and Candle Magick. Just to mention a few. I have took Mediumship Classes, Candle Magick, Bone Reading, and Sekhem Reiki classes just to name a few. There is also a Séance every second Saturday of the month.
There are many items here that everyone needs. Candles, Sage Bundles, Oils, Incense, Jewelry, Blankets, Wall Décor, Cards Tarot and Oricle, Ruins, Gift Cards and Bags Shoulder and for Cards. Crystals Skulls and Crystal Balls. Meditation CD’s along with music. Plus countless other Gems and Minerals. Come in see for yourself. I can guarantee you’ll feel welcomed. Even by Fred the Original owner of the home that loved it so much his ghost remains to this day.

Such positive things to say about the enchanted cottage. I have been for readings twice with Marcia– they were incredibly spot on. & accurate. Marcia is a really lovely person & incredibly helpful. Atmosphere in the store is very calm & relaxing.

How has no one reviewed EC yet?
I have been coming here for a little over two months now. Everyone is very nice and willing to help. There are also numerous classes offered, as well as readings, massages, events, etc.
The new location on H street is easy to access.
I love stepping into the Enchanted Cottage because there is a peaceful demeanor and everyone is not judgemental. I’m definitely grateful Deanna has opened a business which Bakersfield has so few of to help those in their metaphysical studies!
The only reason I put moderate on the pricing is, while some items are low priced, the crystals/​jewelry and books can get pricey.
