Custom Dental

I would give negative stars, but that’s not possible. I went here when I first moved to Bakersfield. I was told by them that my insurance covered the basic exam. I then was told I had 4 cavities. I left without work done for a second opinion. The next dentist said I had 2 and I haven’t had any since. This was over a year ago. 1 year later, I received a bill for over 200.00 stating my insurance did not cover. This is very surprising considering that I specifically asked them to verify. two deceitful lies I was told. And who send a bill 1 year later!!! I received two notifications of the bill and then placed on collections. These people are dishonest and I will never ever recommend them!
short story: they try to make money off of you by diagnosing unnecessary dental work and two, lying about what you are covered for and doing the work and billing you. stay away!

I have been going to Custom Dental for about 4 or more years now. When we came to Bakersfield, we had to start all over again finding doctors we could trust. It took awhile, but we found that in Dr. Lin and Custom Dental.
His office staff is very friendly and they know exactly who we are when we walk in the door. We never have to wait a long time. The xray technicians are fast and efficient. Dr. Lin is very thorough with his exams. He even checks for cancer along with everything else.
The office is super clean and the equipment is well maintained. Even their bathroom is spotless!
I am very happy I found a place where my whole family feels comfortable going. I could tell Dr. Lin has kids because he was so great and patient with my boys. I think the best thing about our visits is there’s a TV where the boys can watch whatever their little hearts desire. They don’t even realize anything is being done to them. Unfortunately, my youngest son had has to have fillings and he’s never even realized what Dr. Lin is doing to him because he gets to watch a movie. It’s hilarious and awesome all at the same time! He’s had novocaine injections and he doesn’t even know it!
I have referred several of my friends to Dr. Lin and they love him, too! If you’re looking for a great dentist, Dr. Lin is your man!

My family and myself have been going to Custom Dental for the past few years. I enjoy going there everybody is so nice and professional. I highly recommend going to Custom Dental.

Awesome and efficient to say the least. I no longer feel anxious when going to the dentist. All thanks to Dr. Lin who has been taking care of my dental needs for the past 2 years. Not only does he take care me but also my family as well. I love the fact that he takes the time to explain, he is very patient and honest.
The staff is friendly, polite, they make u feel welcome. Which is always a plus in my book. The office is beautiful and clean. I have and will continue to recommend Custom Dental.

I’m writing this review to warn people from undergoing unnecessary dental work that could damage your teeth. I had recently moved to Bakersfield & needed to find a new dentist. I have always gone to the dentist regularly since I was a child. I also brush & floss daily. I take very good care of my teeth. Dentists remark about my beautiful teeth at dental appointments. I haven’t had a cavity in 16 years. This is why I was surprised when Custom Dental diagnosed me with 6 cavities. After this diagnosis, I decided to get a second opinion. Another honest dentist in Bakersfield reviewed the x-​rays & said I had no cavities. Obviously I trust the dentist who is not trying to make money off of drilling into my teeth.

After my husband retired we changed dental groups with our new HMO plan. We were both pleasantly surprised by the techniques and technology of Custom Dental. The staff are professional and do their best to make your dental experience positive. They make a sincere effort to get you in and out. I was impressed that the dentist made adjustments that were better than I expected to my teeth. By the way, don’t use cheap dental floss. Thought it would be hard to find as good of a dentist as before but Custom is better that my last dentist.

This place is super high tech, clean, and friendly staff all around. Front desk staffs are friendly, X-​Ray assistants are efficient and clear with instructions and fast!
I’ve had several diff dentists here and they’re all good! Unlike other places, dentists here explain to you what they’re doing as they work on you, which I find comforting as you sit on the chair with mouth wide open.

This place is awesome. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I had most recently been going to Dedicated Dental on Rosedale, but got tired of the rude staff and crappy office. This place is nice and clean. You even get to watch television while you are being worked on. They are even open on Saturdays!
