You pretty much know what you’re gonna get with 7eleven — they’re all pretty much the same. Quick cheap food or drinks, average service, and average cleanliness. This one was surprisingly well taken care of and the guy working at the counter was really friendly.

Friendly staff, clean store, large selection. Whenever out of products the staff ensures that they will order it regularly for me upon my next visits and have never failed to deliver!

It’s clean. It has separate men’s and women’s restrooms. It has a fairly good selection of beverages for both those above and below 21 years of age. Their gas prices are only competitive for their street corner. Being a local, I doubt I would ever buy gas there. Overall, this is probably one of the nicer mini-marts in Bakersfield, and definitely in the top three of the 7-Elevens I’ve visited in town.(The two on Calloway are pretty good, too.)

I needed to get gas so I can make it all the way to San Luis Obisbo. I was searching for a «lower priced»(HA!) gas station and found here at this 7 – 11. Yeah it was still near $ 4 per gallon, but at least it was UNDER that 4 dollar mark, unlike the other stations closer to the freeway! I filled my tank and was again on my way! «Oh thank heaven for seven-eleven»!

I shop regularly at 7– Eleven stores. This is not one of my favorite locations, but they are so convenient to stop at. I only stop here when I need gas, and I’m headed down South. The gas is cheaper than anywhere else on my drive to Hwy 99 on Olive Dr.

I’ve stopped at this 7-Eleven on the Southeast Corner of Olive Drive and Knudson, just West of the 99 Freeway many times at all hours of the day and night. It may not be the cheapest gas in town, though it’s usually the cheapest on that corner beating out the Shell and Chevron Stations, but it is eminently convenient. I stop here quite often to gas up on my way out of town for road trips, and I stop here on my way home, too. The minimart stocks a full complement of energy drinks, sodas, and coffee drinks as well as sweet and salty snack options. There is a redbox DVD rental box out front and a Citibank ATM inside for your convenience. It’s always well lit, so I feel comfortable to stop and gas up no matter what the hour. Bonus: More times than not when I pass this place at night there is at least one police car parked in their lot if not more. That should vouch for the quality of their donuts. ;~) Whether you appreciate the safety factor or just like to gaze at men in uniform, it’s a win-win situation.

Stop here for gas and a bathroom break after dinner at Sonic. The bathroom was fairly clean, and it seems like all 7-Elevens must use their bathroom as a storage closet as well. If you forgot to have a chocolate malt or dessert at Sonic, you can grab an ice cream novelty and/or other assorted drinks/snacks for the drive home. There isn’t much to see between Bakersfield and the Bay Area, so treat yourself to something good. Besides, when you’re on vacation, it doesn’t count, remember? ;) It’s on Olive just across 99 from Sonic. Convenient and gas will be cheaper here than most other places.
