Denny’s

Came in to eat lunch on the long car ride to LA. Waited at the host counter for just under 10 mins and was ignored by staff.
Employees everywhere on the cell phones or on breaks but non wanted to work.
Walked out ate next door.

Not many people here and i cant even get a coffee… Its like were not even here… And after the wait for the coffee its flipping cold

We were on our way to San Diego and decided to stop by baker for some breakfast. The servers here are slow at everything. We sat at a table and had to wait 10 min for our server to ask if we want drinks. We didn’t have any utensils or napkins so we had to ask for some. Since our server was busy with another table we asked another server for two cups of water and he told us «you have to ask your server» yes and in a rude way. The food was good but the service was sh*tty!!! Never stopping here ever again. I’d rather eat at one of the fast foods next to it.

I’m not from around Baker, but I was on the way back from Las Vegas with my family, so we decided to stop here. Let’s just say, our expectations weren’t that high.
Almost immediately, a lady took us to a table and another lady took our drinks down soon after. The waitress was friendly, but could’ve been slightly more timely. When we were finished eating, it took a little while until we got the check — oh, and same goes for receiving the food. Speaking of food, I got my own Grand Slam with 2 orders of sunny side up eggs (4 eggs total), 1 order of pancakes (2 pancakes) and 1 order of bacon (2 strips). I was hungry, but struggled to finish it all. The pancakes had a bit of an odd/​bad aftertaste, though the other food was tasty!

This Denny’s bathroom is not good for people with crutches! It is a long walk/​hop to the bathroom!
The waiting is not bad, and a waiter/​waitress comes to you quickly. Getting your food is a different story. Maybe no one works in the kitchen because it took forever!
The music is old fashioned, peculiar, too loud, and sometimes angry rock from the 80’s! Not quite suited for eating.
Food is served hot, but other than that it is standard quality.

We stopped here because my son wanted pasta. We were finally seated after standing at the front for 8 minutes when the manager finally sat us. Ten more minutes to order drinks and thankfully food at the same time.
The pasta was fine, but my Cesar salad was nothing more than wilted iceberg lettuce drowning in Ceasars dressing and cheese. We got our food before our silverware.
Not eating here again.

Place need more waitresses when they are busy. Waiting time is long to place your order. But food is good.

Was going to give this location a four star for running out of steak. However Melissa, our server, was very personable and gave us a difference discount because of the alternate plate. Really nice. Good atmosphere here considering how crowded it gets from visitors.
