I wasn’t terribly excited about this yoga studio. The lack of parking is frustrating for people who don’t live on the island and you couldn’t pay me to bike ride across Agate Pass. You’re just asking to be hit by a frustrated ferry-goer. I signed up for an Intro to Yoga class that was supposed to span several weeks, but ended up not returning after the first class. Every time I asked a question, I was told we wouldn’t really have time to get into that, but I sure did learn a lot about how the instructor got to spend a few years off work traveling the world. Once it became clear that the particular instructor was more interested in sharing hybrid Pilates-yoga fitness-based yoga and wasn’t really into talking about the other arms of yoga, I just couldn’t manage to drag myself back.

Visiting Bainbridge and came here for an integral yoga class with Sue. Went deep into a blissful place through the practice then sat with a cup of tea in the sacred garden space. Picked up a chilled carrot coconut soup and pickled beet salad for lunch at their take away kitchen. Everything about the class, the people and the space is calling me back for another visit.

Came here for a yoga class and it was so excellent I came back for another. As with any yoga studio the classes are going to vary by teacher — so I am not going to go into specifics of style. I want to rate the studio based on reasonable pricing, beautiful clean workout area, lots of props, beautiful views, lovely location, convenient parking — and onsite vegan food — yum! What’s not to love? Check out their website directly for yoga class styles, difficulty level and teachers. This place rocks!
