Friendly staff, freeing environment, decent accommodations… although it’s very expensive(and everyone who goes complains to each other about it, but what can you do when they’re the only shop in town???). For example, a basic cabin for 2(bed, bath) for Camp Bear is nearly $ 900. The included food is convenient… and is okay — they’ll accommodate vegetarians with decent warning, but I’d recommend bringing some of your own food. A long partying weekend can’t happen on steamed vegetables, salad and bread! Honestly, I go for the people, not the over-priced bare-bones accommodations. Everyone is super friendly, non-judgmental, and the staff tries to make sure you’re getting your money’s worth, despite it being run down. They work *very* hard. I look forward to many more years of fun there. The guys are great and a fun time is guaranteed!

My husband and I came to Camp Bear last week and had a blast! The activities were so much fun all weekend! We played Beer Pong and Flip Cup for the first time and loved it! The nightly dancing at the Tavern was fantastic and the 2DJ’s were on point! The RV-ers in charge of the event really kept the energy up and the party going. We met some super great guys and we are now Facebook friends We are already making plans with our new friends for next years event and the fall bear event in September!
