Fabulous service; great ambiance; delicious food. What more could you ask for!!! We love it more each year. They also let us borrow some kitchen items for our takeout. Awesome!!!

After exploring the rocky coast for 2 hours, I worked up quite an appetite. Morse’s is just before the bridge(when headed north towards Brunswick) and a great find(with the help of Unilocal of course). The specials were delicious sounding but I went with my gut and ordered the broiled haddock sandwich and sweet potato fries. Fantastic decision! Seriously the best fish sandwich I’ve EVER had. I wanted to kiss the cook, the fisherman, and the guy that made the pole to catch that haddock. Service — SUPERB! Dawn was great, very friendly, attentive, funny. I had moved from the patio to the pier to get some sun, she called out from the patio to see if I needed another beer like I was chilling in the backyard. Felt very at home here. Don’t miss this spot!

After eating at other places in the area we were not impressed. Very heavy on the fried food and nothing special on the menu but still expensive.

Nothing to get excited about. But when you’ve waited 1 ½ hours to eat and you’re starving, everything you put in your mouth seems amazing. Our waitress was great, the ambiance is nice, but the wait just isn’t worth it. They are more expensive than nearby restaurants which serve the same fish sandwiches or broiled options, except this place brings a mini bag of Lays potato chips as a side dish. I can eat Lays at home thank you very much, if that were my thing that is. The bar staff made up of two frazzled women is slow and confused. For a restaurant that has a long wait time, they could really profit from Alcohol sales to the people waiting, however we waited 15 minutes at the bar just to be spoken to by bartender, and then we waited another 10 minutes for her to pour two glasses of wine because the scene was disorganized and she kept getting sidetracked . And yes, I’m a New York city girl so I’m used to excellent everything, but I’ve been around the world a few times so I don’t expect everywhere to be like NYC. I just expect good service and well thought out food in exchange for my hard earned money. However this place needs a good manager, a few bus boys, and more organized bar service in order to have me wait 1 ½ hours for a fish sandwich and a bag of Lays.

Came here during our day cruise with Casco Bay lines. Most of the people ended up going to Cook’s since the boat docked there, but I decided to be a little more adventurous and walk down the road to this place. It looked very promising from the cure interior and support nice wait staff and hostess, but the food was just so-so. I had a lobster roll and fries and it wasn’t worth the $ 18. The burgers actually looked pretty good here so that might be a better bet, but you can’t blame me for ordering lobster when it’s in season.

They do fried clams the right way. If you sit outside the views can’t be beat. I felt the menu was a little limited, but they had some nice local beers on tap. A fun place to hang out

Annual update: The service issues at Cribstone have all gone away. We ate there three times this week and ordered cooked lobsters to take out twice. Each time we enjoyed excellent, friendly and efficient service from everyone. I am so happy that this place exists on Bailey Island. I had fried clams and fried oysters and they were delicious. Their steamed lobsters for take-out make dinner at home a snap!

One of the best salads in the Universe and everything else is as good. Go for the crab roll as a break from labsta’ rolls… it is fantastic. Trust me, you’ll dream about this food.

I love this little gem! If you stumble across it, just smile, because the service is friendly, the seafood is well prepared and delicious(seafood nachos are AMAZING), and the cocktails are infused perfectly(try the shipwrecked margarita)! If you are looking for a great view, Morse’s has that, too. There are two options for seafood, don’t bother going to the other place, this one wins…

Yes! Loved it here… everything from service to food to beer list was incredible! Be ready to wait, but grab a beer and sit out on the pier; heck you’re on the coast and the view is worth savoring. My husband had is first-ever whole lobster and I had the fried clams; delicious. You know how sometimes you got to a vacation spot and the locals treat you like crap??? Well, not here everyone was so nice; including the hostess who was awaiting the birth of her grandchild! Loved it here and will definitely come back!

Found Morse’s happenstance last night with my fiancé and discovered a gem of a spot. We were beyond delighted not only by the cabin-like comfy-kitch décor, friendly hostess and bartender but also the creative cocktails, healthy seafood offerings and spectacular views. We both ordered specials of the day, Haddock stuffed w Lobster and Honey-glazed Salmon over fresh greens and berries. Outstanding. Perma-grin worthy. I highly recommend to this little slice of heaven to all my fellow lucky peeps who find themselves on Bailey Island.

Very good food, large portions, excellent fried clams and oysters. Menu a little heavy on fried items but it’s summer in Maine so what the hell. Fabulous view, literally on the ocean. Staff very congenial.

The view was five star The food was four stars The price was two stars The seafood nachos were awesome but for $ 16.99 I think they should some lobster on them. I have never had seafood nachos so I ordered this and I loved it. I just feel that is tad expensive for it. My wife ordered the scallops which were cooked excellently. Again the price point seemed high for 4 scallops and a few fries. We just were underwhelmed here and felt we spent more than we got. Service was great and the view was awesome.

Gluten-free friendly and accommodating. Manager was celiac! ATTNMGR — They need to put GF indicators on menu items! Best smoked fish dip ever. Charming, warm, cabin-like interior with lots of old wood and great views. Seating outside overlooks bridge and bay. Like eating in a painting. Food, view and service were great. Fried scallops were just amazing. Super light coating — almost a skin — kept the sweet scallop flavor front and center. Onion rings were perfect. Crunchy and sweet onion flavor within. I am a cole slaw nut and theirs did not disappoint. Their only salad choice was amazing. Fresh raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, pecans, feta and spring mix were topped with a huge piece of cleanly prepared haddock. Their house-made pecan dressing was awesome and we even bought a pint to go. Nicely priced and friendly service rounded out a wonderful meal. Drive down the road and see the giant stairs formation! Amazing.

Really great, friendly place. We went during the off season so it was slow and relaxed. My fried clam dinner with sweet potato fries was excellent! My dad said the lobster roll was the best he’s had in Maine and my mom’ haddock was very good. You need to try the sweet potato fries even if You don’t normally like them– trust me, these are not to be missed. The lobster artichoke dip was also a big winner. Thanks for a great experience and reasonable prices!
