Tricia’s Cafe

I’m not really sure why this place is called a café. It’s more of a bar. Chicken tender sandwiches, burgers, and wraps. They star you off with a bowl of pickles and sauerkraut.
We both had burgers, cooked pretty good, although there was a hair in mine… I don’t want to talk about it. Prices are amazing. around $ 8, fires are extra. 2 burgers, 2 seasoned fries (cajun, really good,) 2 soft drinks, $ 25!
This place definitely has an old school vibe. Service was friendly.

This is a cute little place to grab a bite — but it won’t be quick. I came in one afternoon for lunch during the week. My dad and I were the one of two tables in the place so we thought we would be in and out. We both ordered steak sandwiches, medium rare, but it took about 30 – 40 minutes for them to come out and mine was more on the medium well side.
There was only one server in the restaurant but he seemed so flustered — he was running around taking orders bringing drinks and the phone kept ringing for I assume take out orders. Poor guy. He was very nice to us and didn’t rush us despite being overwhelmed. I would like to come back and try this place again. My food was delicious so it’s worth another shot to me.

Much improvement shown over the last year. Large portions and low prices — better then average burgers and fries…
Just a neighborhood place but I am happy to see a better attitude from both the service staff and the kitchen.
With continued progress I can see 4 stars in the future.

We love the food here BUT this is definitely a little hole in the wall kind of place. It needs a serious deep clean and the main wait staff can be very off. One guy is often texting in the middle of a busy service and when you are waiting on drinks or apps that can be frustrating.
Take out can run an hour or longer to pick up but their coconut shrimp or regulus at boiled shrimp are fabulous along with their wings, Mae West burger and fish and chips.
