This is a ‘Town of Babylon residents only’ beach that requires a beach pass(sticker). I mostly go to this beach, so I highly recommend it for these simple reasons: 1) VERYCLEAN. 2) Respectful, family-friendly atmosphere. There is no loud music and/or disrespectful behavior going on at this beach. Ever. I have been bathing here for 10 plus years now. 3) Updated children’s playground. 4) Cantina with food and drinks(a bit pricey though). 5) Ample parking. Since this is a private(ish) beach, it doesn’t get overly crowded. In short, this is a great beach if you’re looking to just lay out, take a nice dip, and read a good book, without any loud teens kicking sand in your face.

It’s a really nice beach. After 5:00 everyday it’s free. Even overlook beach. No sticker needed.

If you’re not from Babylon — stay out, we don’t want your kind. Just kidding, kind of. This is a residents only beach so it stays nice and quiet. There’s a playground for the kiddies and a Beach Hut for all the adults. Clean, and one of the biggest Babylon beaches(though that means less and less every year).

Great play ground for the kids at this T.O.B. Standard. Nice beach and concession. Plenty of parking. A bit more family oriented than Gilgo and much less crowded than Cedar.

Nice beach for Babylon town residents only. You need to have the sticker on your car for the current year to be able to go to this beach. It’s clean and relatively quiet, and thankfully missing most of the annoyances associated with public beaches in the summertime.

This beach is only for Babylon residents who have the parks pass for the current year. It’s a great beach because it’s clean, the water isn’t too far from the boardwalk, and the sand isn’t filled with shells to step on. There’s a very nice park for the kids that was just built last summer(2011). The Beach Hut allows you to buy food and drinks without leaving the beach. There’s a basketball court next to the parking lot which I enjoy using to work up a sweat before cooling off by the ocean. You can visit the 9⁄11 memorial before you leave, which is just west of the parking lot.

Town residents only. Longish walk to the beach, but gentler waves and nice playground make this a great beach for the kids.
