Escape Nail Spa

I decided to take a chance on this place and called to make an appointment. Vicky, the owner was very accomodating. Clean, well kept place. They had a good assortment of nail polish and gel colors. My gel manicure has last me about three weeks. I will be back very soon.

I’ve had trouble in the past finding a good nail salon. I stumbled across this place walking through Babylon Village. The man who did my nails was really nice and when I told him I’ve had issues with gel manicures peeling in the past, he made sure to do them perfectly for me. More than one week later my fingers and my toes still look fresh! Great nail salon. I’ll keep going back.

I needed my eyebrows waxed and I was in Babylon village so I figured I’d try this place. They did a decent job on my eyebrows, the staff was friendly and the woman doing my eyebrows even complimented my at home mani even though I wasn’t crazy about the job I did on my own nails last week. The service was pretty fast they take walk in appointments and I just had to wait for a few minutes before my eyebrows were waxed.
My only slight disappointment was the waxing room table. I’m not the skinniest chic in the world and when I went to lay down on the table it creaked a little. I’m not that big where I’m to the point of breaking furniture so I don’t think their table was very sturdy. I’m just happy it didn’t collapse while I was getting my eyebrows done.
So I may or may not be back to brave the creaky table and risk some injury depending on how it goes with other nail salons in Babylon that I go to for a brow wax.

Love this place. Clean. Relaxing. Friendly. Not a nail factory. So if you’re looking to to wait 30min to pay $ 20 for a mani and pedi. Don’t come here.
Slightly more expensive but worth it for the attentiveness. They don’t rush and are never extremely packed. perfect!

Just moved to Babylon and I am on a quest to find the best nail salon and I need it to be clean.
Overall good experience. I will start with the positives. I got a manicure & pedicure and it was super quick for a really good job. I was in and out in an hour and that includes at least 15 minutes of drying. The massaging was good. The girl that I had gave a fairly firm foot and hand massage, the gentleman that gives the drying massage was really rough. It was to the point of painful for me, however I do prefer lighter massages. Everyone was super friendly and very nice. The reason I deducted two stars from the overall rating are two big issues I had. First is the cleanliness and equipment issues. I did see them cleaning out pedicure tub after my treatment but the overall vibe of the place is not very clean. I’m not sure if that’s because all of their furniture and equipment is very old but I also didn’t see any real tool cleaning equipment. At all. Besides the foot bath and it was more of a quick clean then a scrub. The second star was taken away because I have to say I think they were very over priced. I know it’s in the village, and there is a certain price tag attached with that, but for the broken Pedi Chair, and the stress I was feeling over the cleanliness, I don’t feel a $ 40 man/​ped with tip was worth it. I really wanted to love this nail salon, but it fell short. I will try a new one in two weeks!
