Edwards Park

I love this tiny park. Nice new playground. 2 swings for older kids and 2 with bucket seats for smaller ones. Plenty of shade over the grassy area and the 2 benches. The entire park is fenced in. There’s a ledge that sticks out of the wall on the shaded side that serves ok for additional seating. Although there’s no shade over the playground itself, the fixtures are all plastic or coated metal. There’s wood chips, no sand, so no fire ants or cat poop! The grass is very well kept. It can get a bit crowded after school hours, but if you have a blanket, you can find a spot on the grass. Across the street is a barber, the post office, the wic office, and a couple great restaurants a little further down. The only drawback is the pathway on the shaded side is a little too narrow for a stroller but that’s no big deal. I recommend this park for anyone who likes to keep their kid in their sights at all times.

This park on Azusa Ave just recently opened up. Of course everything is brand new and everything is great and clean when it’s brand new. This is a small park with some swings, a jungle gym, and some benches. It’s on a pretty busy street but they have it fenced to protect the little ones. Absolutely no shade at this park at all so probably super hot come summer time.
