I went into Hutch’s with my ’96 Chevy pickup experiencing a LOT of transmission whine and a little bit of shift shock. Off one of the techs went for a test drive. 30 minutes later I came out with NO bill, and was told «It’s your alternator whining, not your transmission.» Here, listen!” as he held a long screwdriver to the alternator and had me put my ear up to it. They could have EASILY sold me a $ 1000 transmission rebuild but they’re honest… AND knowledgeable. A new alternator from NAPA and my whine went away. When and if this transmission DOES need a rebuild, I’m going back to Hutch’s! Oh and the front office staff is pretty hilarious too!

I have had nothing but great experiences at Hutch’s. They have a small town feel and will go above and beyond to make you feel at home and leave satisfied. even if they dont get it right the first time, they will help you out in any way possible. I reccommend them highly.

Do not go here! Its overpriced. ALSO my iPod was stolen out of my vehicle during its stay at the shop. I asked kindly for it back and everyone said they «had no idea what an iPod was». Horrible horrible horrible.
