Came here for a wedding and was pleasantly surprised by beautifully designed gardens, a pretty stone staged amphitheater and its of winding pathways and water feature-laden green space. parking is easy, and not far from the main area where the wedding took place. The stroll between the parking lot and the wedding venue was scattered with statues gardens, seasonal landscaping, and water features. The property slips down towards the venue, so the air where we sat with nice and cool, with plenty of tree coverage in a nice high canopy allowing light to sparkle in. It was quite dreamy and picturesque for a fitting fairytale wedding feel. I would estimate seating was available for 100 to 150 people at the very most. Any group larger than that would not fit here comfortably. Visibility was good for the ceremony, and on this October Sunday the weather was just right, a gamble at any time of the year in Texas. With just two speakers set up on the walkway above the venue, volume was adequate. And because of the shape of the amphitheater and how it is naturally protected from the wind, acoustics were ideal for outdoor sound. The reception took place in the main building, which was again ideally suited for a group of this size. Decorations were comfortable, though nothing unusual here. Typical round tables with white cloth covers on folded chairs. Plenty of space for food, an open bar, gift and picture, tables etc. If you’re looking for a quaint, beautiful outdoor wedding setting for a group of 100 or so, from an attendee’s perspective(i.e. I have no experience whatsoever with the staff, pricing, or management) I would highly recommend this venue.
