I went here because I had to go here.
The staff is pretty friendly and will utilize their winn-​dixie card on hand for the discount.
In Avondale, they might be the only ‘friendly’ people working at a retail establishment.
Descent variety in groceries and chilled beverages.
It is a 3 because it is ill-​advised to go after dark and their prices are marked-​up pretty good if you do not have your own winn-​dixie card.

My hotel was beside this Winn Dixie during Hurricane Isaac. Store opened up the next day, even when the power was still off. Management came outside and talked to shoppers who were waiting to get in. Their great customer service kept a rather tired and strained crowd under control. Great job.
