Nanas Pizza & Subs

Confused. Ordered a turkey sub, and things that should go on it are all an additional charge. Bread tastes funny, and directed the delivery guy to call when he was here. Dude decided to beep instead. Not sure if I’ll order from this place again, beside the other rather negative reviews about this business.

Good food. We order a lot of take out, and I’ve become picky about pizza in the last few years, and this pizza is good. The chicken meals are great, and everyone I’ve dealt with over the phone or for delivery has been very good for customer service. If they do make a mistake, they’ve been very understanding, apologetic, and do get things corrected asap with no questions. I would recommend ordering here, and will continue to do so myself on a regular basis.
Edited, due to the fact that as I thought they were correcting an incorrect order immediately as promised, my correct order didn’t arrive until 2 hours and 20 minutes later, and even after calling in and checking on the arrival, and being told it would come within the next 5 minutes, it still took an hour and a half after that. Very disappointed since I would’ve continued to order from here at least once a week, but now I’m not so sure.

After having ordered here a few times I decided this is where I wanted a quick bite to eat. I called up and when the guy answered I said I’d like to place an order for delivery. Without saying anything the guy puts down the phone, I hear him repeat what I said, and then carry on a conversation loaded with profanity while I waited for 5 minutes for him to pick back up the phone so I could tell him off. I couldn’t stand to wait any longer and just hung up.

Had no idea it takes 30 minutes for 2 slices of pizza to come out of the oven. This happened 3 times to me. worst service ever. I will NEVER go back

Good food, fresh vegetables and not greasy. Every time I ordered to go I haven’t had to wait long. Will definitely come back

You could not pay me to eat there after what I witnessed, the owner cashed out my order (I paid in cash) and then proceeded to go and make my sub without washing his hands. I got his attention and told him I would like to cancel my order and get my money back. I explained my reason and he threw my money at me and told me never to come back! Believe me I won’t be going back… EVER

A friend ordered a buffalo chicken calzone from here and shared. I’m not into calzones normally, but this one was pretty darn good!

Guy showed up in a white minivan, made me come outside when he should have delivered it, and he reeked of weed… effectively making my food less appetizing as I thought of how the bag continued to smell even after I got inside.

My husband and I used to order from here, because it USED to be good. Not quite sure what happened… so it’s become our last resort for pizza/​subs. Tonight is an example of why. It’s Sunday, so North End Market and North Main Street Pizza are closed (although North Main St. Pizza is usually open), so we said what the heck we’ll just order from Nana’s. I ordered a BLT, and when i got home it didn’t taste right at all. After two or three awful bites, I concluded it was turkey bacon!!! The guy hadn’t said anything on the phone or in person, or ask me if I wanted turkey bacon instead of pork bacon, so I was confused. Even though I had no plans to actually drive back to the place, I decided to call to see what was up. The guy said, «yes, it’s turkey bacon, it’s all they had at BJ’s,» I told him it tasted kind of awful, and he asked me what I thought he should do about it. I told him, «Don’t use turkey bacon,» and he replied that he has nothing to do with the pick-​ups. Well then how about warn your effing customers that they won’t be getting what they expect! Ugh. Tonight confirmed exactly why this place sucks. No effort. I couldn’t even finish the gross «BLT» and my dog didn’t like it either.
