Fishers is an old style lake side supper club with an excellent walleye dinner. There is much more to the menu but walleye is the place to start.

We made reservations a 7 pm on a Friday. The restaurant was busy but not full. After ordering at 7:15 we waited until 8:40 to be served. Really not acceptable. The waitress tried hard but I will never go back.

We are so happy to have Fishers Club up and running again! Dinner takes awhile but the food is excellent. Our server kept the drinks coming. The view and the atmosphere… Can’t beat it. Pro Tip– the fish tacos are out of this world. Nice and spicy.

Fish tacos are fabulous. The walleye dinner is great too. Try the Swiss Apple Salad. They have the original Sally and Hazel potato salad. They pour a 5oz glass of wine but be prepared the glasses are larege. Don’t for get dessert!

Unfortunately, Fisher’s Club is now closed and they are looking for a new owner. Too bad.

One of my favorite restaurants… I grew up down the road from here and go back every chance I get. Maybe it’s the setting right on the lakeshore, or the outdoor seating, or the scrumptious walleye(as well as perfect onion rings, great reuben, etc.), or the friendly waitstaff, or the live music(on occasion)… It’s all that, and the fact that I can bring in my retro bottle carrier, order a «set up» of tonic, and pour my own gin. Definitely a one-of-a-kind place. Don’t miss it!
