Emh Center For Health & Fitness

I like EMH, UH, health campus. My husband and I were members for 3 or so years and the facility is clean, and has state of the art equipment. That being said, it is expensive at $ 120./month for the 2 of us. They offer a lot of memberships relative to the size of the facility which means long waits for equipment. I personally used the track and free spinning classes the most which were great but the track was often crowded with walkers and it could be difficult to schedule a spinning class because of demand. I attempted to run on the outside track once and got chased by a male goose who hissed at me for being near his nest so outside is not usually an option.

I’m a former member and left because this place is ridiculously overpriced.
Cons–
$ 70/​Month for a single membership-​those are private country club like prices
$ 20/​per person guest fee, are you kidding me
Peak Hours-Don’t even try, it’s very overcrowded and machines are packed
Towel Service-​they don’t have them in the locker room but you can pick one up at the front desk
Staff can be rude or not very helpful
They are part of a Hospital and I don’t know about you but hospital are were sick people are, just saying.
Pros
Newer machines and place is pretty clean overall
Nice looker rooms but no shampoo, just soap in the showers
The are offers plenty of better and way more affordable places to workout and I suggest you try them over EMH! I definitely won’t be going back

State of the art exercise center. Pool facility is terrific. Excellent equipment and classes.
