Burger Burger

Food was amazing and obviously made fresh! The shrimp po boy was one of the best sandwiches I ever had, the spicy jalapeño tarter sauce really made it unique! The onion rings were crispy and not soggy at all! The Blackened Blue burger was seasoned and cooked perfectly! The service was friendly and speedy! Overall this was an excellent little restaurant and I would want to try the other things on their menu!

Good hamburger and good fish sandwich but the most impressive was the counter person, he was so nice and polite…

The food is great and is very reasonably priced! We’ll definitely return here next summer :)

Good burger… a bit pricey but everything is down here. Was a little upset that we came in looking forward to a cold beer while waiting on our food. We were brought luke warm beers… I asked if she could put them in a freezer or something while our food cooked… she giggled and said she had just refrigerated them a few minutes ago… so she knowingly served us hot bottled beer. Not cool…

Best burgers on the beach by far. A trip to the Outer Banks is not complete without a Cowboy Burger and some sweet-​potato fries at the Burger Burger! It’s a must!

These burgers are the jam! Fries were also great. The service was also great, nice folks! Ron Swanson would be proud.

Really great place. We happened in here looking for a place that wasn’t going to cost us $ 20 a meal like many of the restaurants in Avon. I got the sunshine burger with everything, and I have to say it was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Great food, incredibly friendly service and quick. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

It was a 30 minute wait for a burger and Reuben. It would be one thing if the food was superb. The Blackened bleu burger was burnt with slopped on onions and clumpy bleu cheese. The Reuben was soggy and did not taste good at all. Fries were burnt. We ended up throwing our food (and money) away

First of all, let me just say… There are times that people come in and are very rude and inconsiderate of this awesome «Locals» place.. Burger Burger has been running for 8 years. Five in Buxton and Three in Avon. I can tell you that my mother owns this place and has worked very hard to build a clientele. She has succeeded and pleases hundreds of people in the summer time and locals and such throughout the year. The people who get on here and give her five stars. I really appreciate. She works hard and I think it’s great! As for the people who like to rip her a new one, all I can say is … Do you have anything better to do on vacation?! ALL of her food is great, yes maybe there is a day or two where the fries aren’t that great because they’re a little over cooked. But I wish people would say something to the person working the front instead of blasting her business like this. It’s rude and I hope someone does it wherever you work so you know how it feels.. People come in on vacation and expect so much, even if they see a line out the door. This isn’t McDonalds. Yes you order at the counter, but the food is made to order and all tastes great. As for turning people away, I was there, I was the person at the counter. We ran out of food on the 4^th of July at 7 pm and that’s why we turned people away. Some people just need to realize we are on an island and it’s a VACATION for the tourist. In the summer, Burger Burger is one of the best places to eat, regardless of the bad reviews on this site. If the service is a little slow, it’s probably because we are busy and don’t have eights hands to do everything for the customers at that time. I hope to see everyone this summer. It’s a great spot to do lunch or dinner.. Everything is fresh and made in a timely matter..

The food is delicious and the prices are fair. I read about the bad service. Well we had a party of 8. We ordered at couter and left a tip. Staff brought our food to the table and fulfiled our request. We were so please with the service we left a 2^nd tip.

I really want to give this more stars but the service makes it impossible. I ate there for dinner with my family while on vacation. There were six of us total. We ordered 4 burgers, 2 kids meals, 4 fountain drinks, bottle of water, and lemonade. The food was really pretty good except the burger patties which were slightly over cooked. However, it took almost 20 minutes for them to bring out my Dad’s lemonade and my Step-mom’s water (after I asked about them) and over 40 minutes for our food. (the table next to us ordered a pizza and had it delivered and we still hadn’t gotten our food). At 6:30 they started refusing to take new orders stating that the kitchen was too backed up so they started turning customers away. I’ve never seen such a disorganized mess. I am shocked they have managed to stay in business running things like this.

This place was not crowded when I ordered my food to go. I was told that the wait would be 10 – 15 minutes ended up being around 40 minutes. The food is really good just the wait was way too long not going back there for a while.

Best burger from rodanthe to hatteras! Not a better burger crushes competition! Eat here everything on menu is awesome and made by true locals!

I’m starting to wonder about all my ratings being so high, but this did check off all of my boxes of what it takes to be great. We ordered the daily special (soft shelled crab sandwich). It was very good. The fries were fresh and hot… chunky with skins (perfect for malt vinegar). We ordered the bacon chicken ranch wrap, calamari and a side of sweet potato fries (sugar and cinnamon). We got the basic burger with just lettuce and cheese for our daughter. It was a good size burger and they had plenty of topping to make it better than basic. We ordered a glass of fresh squeezed lemonade as well. Bottled water was only 89 cents. The wrap was nice and juice and not dry. It was grilled also before serving. All of the food was hot and delivered pretty promptly. The atmosphere was very pleasant and cool. I would recommend this as a stop for a nice lunch or supper.

Actually just left this restaurant a little while ago. The food was delicious! They have a decent variety of food to choose from. I got the chicken ranch sandwhich and my fiancé got a double cheeseburger. We also got loaded potato skins. Everything was great the service was awesome. The young boy working at the counter was sweet and attentive. Making sure we had everything we needed. Only bad thing we had was they were out of pepper jack cheese but no big deal. Now they don’t have many options for seafood but if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat and some good food stop here!

Let’s start off, I asked for water and the cashier said they ran out of water. No water on the pop machine. Then my aunt and mom ordered a blue moon. They only had one left. But the food was outstanding. Everyone had a great meal.

Burger delicious, my brother got a chicken wrap that he loved. Everyone enjoyed their food thoroughly. Hush puppies, sweet potato fries and onion rings were all delicious. Will definitely return.

Walked in to get lunch after a long day at the Hatteras seashore. First bad sign was the «basic» beer selection.
Waited at the counter for 15+ minutes. I think every employee who works there looked directly at us and never said anything. Not even a hello we will be right with you!
I don’t mind waiting at all if I’m at least acknowledged, not here.
It’s a shame the food did look good, but oh well.

Super clean and tastefully decorated. Staff is very friendly & accommodating. Food was fresh, hot, fast & tasty! It’s a great affordable lunch spot in OBX.
