Worst bestbuy… and this is solely based on the mobile dept. The female they have there is very un knowledgeable and seemed bothered by having to deal with me at all. She told me that they were not running on the iPhone I told her it’s on the site she said she doesn’t know anything about it. Long story short that’s my last trip there

For whatever it’s worth I would love to see Best Buy boycotted it’s not that the customer service was improper but the business itself they talk you into getting these extended warranties they don’t honor what they cover is what the manufacturer would cover so they pretty much steal your money I had a cracked screen and when I bought my 32 inch flat screen LED television I was told it was covered for cracked screen and other defects acidental they said but when I went to get it honored they would not replace it they told me they would charged me $ 42 to ship it plus too fix. screw you best buy hope you go bankrupt.

I purchased a LGG4 smartphone from Best Buy on 6÷20÷2015. The phone sounded like there was a bad connection no matter where I was at, the battery did not hold a charge anywhere near that it should, and the sound keeps going as if it were on mute or turned down when it is not, and it is usually slow even on WIFI. I went there after a few days and spoke with a female employee and told her of the issues. She changed some setting on my phone that she said would take care of the issue with the battery. She was insistent that my connection issues was because of AT&T’s network even though I told her it happened everywhere and where I knew there were good connections such as my home and work. The phone I had before got excellent reception in both places. She told me to lower my voice when I was not being loud or rude to her. My wife and two Samsung workers that were close by confirmed afterwards that I was not being loud. I asked to speak to the manager and he gave me the same run around. Even though the phone was not a Samsung the Samsung reps tried to help me. They suggested I go to my carrier and have AT&T replace the sim card to see if that would work. I had the sim card worked and gave it sometime to make sure it worked. Needless to say it did not work. I went back to Best Buy and told them I just wanted to trade my phone in for another and I would pay whatever difference. They looked at my receipt and told me that it was 16 days and I had to have done it within 14 days. I asked again to speak to the manager and he said the same thing even though I told him I went there before the 14 days and was given the run around. I called the district manager and told him the whole story. I told him about how rude the first lady was to me. He acted like it was my fault and told me that they expect their customers to be respectful to their staff even though I told him I was and had witnesses. He also told me that there was the 14 day return policy which I was told and they expect their customers to abide by their policies even though I told him I went there the first time well within the 14 days. His response was that if I would have returned it within 14 days they would have returned. I repeated again that I did the first time. Then again he said the same thing. He could care less what I was saying. I would not recommend going there. They do not try to make their customers happy.

We know nothing about electronics anymore. Needed a laptop and printer so decided to give best buy a shot. Was inside about 2 minutes before we were helped by Kendal. Very friendly and knowledgable and handled our novice questions well. Also wa helped by Dennis. Will continue to go back to best buy because of those two. Thanks for the help guys, tough to find young adults that care nowadays

So every year Best Buy gets worse and worse in pricing and service. Went here last night Friday June 6th with the intention of replacing my laptop. I told the sales person that I just wanted something basic since all I really do at home is surf the net, shop. pay bills and write Unilocal reviews. She kept trying to tell me that anything less than a I3 was garbage basically. So finally I had enough and was about to leave when the loss prevention guy says to me, didn’t find what you were looking for and I told him I dont like the car salesmen mentality. Way too aggressive and needs to be toned down. So he referred me to the Castleton location and we drove the 30 miles over there and I did find a laptop I liked that was on special. Bought it and went home and when I opened it up it needed updates so I installed them and when my laptop restarted it would not accept the updates so here it grinds for over 3 hours saying it is uninstalling the items and restoring it back to the way it was. When I returned that laptop to Best Buy today it still had not restored. Not impressed. So I call the manager on duty to complain of the service I got and the fact that now i have a laptop that does not work, he really could have cared less. So i go down to the store and the first thing the geek squad tries to do is sell me a package for $ 100 and make it sound like they are doing me a favor since it should be $ 200. Excuse me but i should not need to pay you to make a brand new laptop work properly and i certainly should not have to leave it with you for 2 days. So I asked to speak to a manager on my way out the door and told him my story and he said well let me give you a $ 25 gift card for your trouble. Really? I asked him could he find a comparable laptop that I could take home today instead of letting geek squad toy with mine for 2 days. He said give me a minute and let me see what i can do. He comes back a few minutes later and says I can give you that same exact laptop brand new in the box at no extra charge and still give you the gift card. I failed to mention earlier that the laptop i bought was an open box display item. So that was cool to get the same one but in the box never opened. So the only reason they are getting 2 stars is because of this manager and for the really nice loss prevention guy. He could train some of these other people to have a better attitude for sure. Best Buy needs to reflect on Circuit City and see where they are today because of that same sort of scam and service. Next time I will just buy online from amazon or someone else.

We were here at about 8pm on a Friday night. I needed to purchase a new laptop ASAP for my teaching job. My husband and I went in and found exactly what I needed(within 15 minutes or so), but checking out was horrible. It took well over 30 minutes to check-out – this included tracking down someone who could get someone else to help us, after being told by 2 other salespeople that they were helping others and we needed to wait. Ridiculous. Selection is nice but the check-out process for a major item was terribly slow.

Ho hum… a pretty typical Best Buy, large selection but the prices are just kinda sad. It is hard to imagine buying regular stuff here when we all know it is far cheaper online. Unless they are having a sale, this place tends to be a more browse but not buy place. Even Best Buy’s online prices seem to be better than the stores. Service here has been mixed, some people seem to behave like they don’t enjoy their jobs which is disappointing in a customer service role. Shout out to the awesome guy who helped us buy some appliances here a little over a year ago, we had done a ton of shopping and he was by far the easiest and best person we dealt with and we were happy to give them our business for that. Thumbs down to the recent crowd of workers standing in front of the exit on my last business just talking about nothing. Good place to recycle all kinds of stuff, check out their website for a full list, some stuff may even be worth $, hooray!
