I had my wedding at Avon Gardens in May 2015. The venue was absolutely wonderful — more beautiful than I could have imagined! They were very responsive through email so I had minimal anxiety about the venue in the weeks approaching the wedding. They have you bring all your decorations to your rehearsal and set them up so there’s no work for the couple or family on the day of the wedding. We had a misunderstanding with the florist and the venue stepped in to help us with that situation with no extra cost, and the result was beautiful. We found them to be very reasonably priced compared to other venues in the area, with fewer restrictions — for example, there’s no catering requirement, which was really important to us. We also did not hire a professional wedding bartender, but had an open bar with a couple of people tending the bar who had some experience. They were happy to set up the bar for us and provided ice throughout the evening, and we only had to purchase liquor liability insurance($ 150). I would absolutely recommend this venue highly to anyone interested in an outdoor wedding!
